Fantastic! One of a small number of watches without "Tachymeter" printed around the scale. Surely anyone interested in chronographs knows what this scale is by now. It doesn't need to be slathered across every new chrono that's released. And given you showed the vintage model, it seems Longines has been ahead of that curve for an age.
I wasn't expecting to be too interested in this one but by the end of the video I'm really charmed by it. Classy watch for sure. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Great video Bob. Beautiful chronograph, love the detail of the dial. I really like how they polished the edges of the sub dials. Goes to show the attention they have to the details.
What a generous watch. Loving this piece Bob. Never seen this one before actually. The 19mm is odd but if that’s all you have to complain about, I’d say that’s pretty dang awesome. 🤙
Wow that’s a great liking watch. Longines keep making watches with a long lug to lug though. Tiny bit to long to suit my taste. Looks awesome though. Great review. Cheers Bob. 👍
That is a very classy-looking watch from a brand that doesn’t get a lot attention from the watch community. Usually, it’s the Big Eye and the Hydroconquest that enthusiasts gravitate to. The tuxedo configuration is quite an interesting variation from the usual panda scheme. I was surprised that the movement isn’t a 7750 as the watch looks a little thick, but your measurements say otherwise. Does anyone use a chronograph anymore? I know I don’t, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t think that they’re cool. Thanks for showing us something out of the mainstream.
It's funny you say that. I have a couple chronos now and they rarely get used other than for the novelty of it. The kids like it when I use it for timing them holding their breath under water in the pool or lake but that's about it :)
