Bought this based on the hype and never had seen it before. I was blown away. It came in on Monday for me, and I watched in Monday night and again on Tuesday night. Great review!

Loved the movie but a very subtle looking movie for being in 4K & yea you don’t need characterization for a serial killer movie!

Thank you for the review! Me and my family must have been the only ones not to like this film after all the hype. 2 of us fell asleep a half hour in and I just didn't buy into the whole evil plot as it was revealed in the end. I also found most of the scenes way too dark to see much of the atmosphere. I was expecting something more like Silence of the Lambs and less supernatural. The whole black magic aspect seemed better played for me in a film like "Skeleton Key" from many years ago. But to each their own.
