1994 has to be one of the best years for movies of all time. The Lion King, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, The Santa Clause, True Lies, Wes Craven's New Nightmare, and Speed.
I think Inside Out 2's box office will be so high that Deadpool and Wolverine will have a hard time topping it. IO2 will probably end north of 1.6 billion, and for Deadpool and Wolverine to pass it, it would have to be in the top 10 of all time. I think that will be a very hard task for a rated-R movie.
I'm pretty sure it should hit $1 billion. Illumination movies usually have long legs. Even a movie like Migration that didn't do well at the start still legged out to get under $300m worldwide and got some profit for it. I just wonder if it does hit $1 billion, wouldn't it make more profit than Inside Out 2 because of the lower budget? Of course that depends where all its money is coming from and doing the movie math. I'm sure you'll make the comparison if Despicable Me 4 does get to that $1 billion mark.
I’m glad Longlegs performed well. The reviews were mixed with the ending a disappointment. It’s good to see small improvements in the industry. Good for Kikki Cage!
@victorfontaine5552 Didn’t you say that if it made $400 million or more in its second week that it’s possible to get a billion? Why are you now backtracking?
Toy Story 4 not getting near the quality of the other Toy Story films ? Do you even do research ? The scores have been 100, 100, 98 and 97. It’s literally the best reviewed franchise in movie history.
Lol rotten tomato is a joke. Owned by the studio. If you bad mouth the Disney own movies you won't get insider access. Most critic reviews are activists, not reviewers anymore.
There are very few people that would say out loud that Toy Story 4 was even close to the quality of the other three. I’m not really sold on part 5 . Andy’s story ended in part 3.
