Longley Park Junior Open  

On Sunday 30th June 2024 Longley Park Golf Club hosted the second edition of their Junior Open. The event was sponsored by ‪@RickShielsPGA‬. I was able to sponsor the 9th hole for Nearest the Pin. I made a short video about the day and the course. The kids loved meeting Rick, who was kind enough to sign golf gear, take selfies and present some prizes, playing in a proper tournament and getting their name announced on the first tee. Some talented youngsters out there.
Longley Park is a 9 hole course and it just under a mile from the impressive Huddersfield station and is served by TransPenine Express and Northern services.
