Longplay of Batman Forever 

Hi all! This movie was one of my favorites as a kid. But I never got to try the SNES game. Well, I finally got around to it even though I've heard mixed reviews about it, but I gotta say, it was pretty fun! And I'm pretty sure I beat it in this video without taking any damage. But it's possible I missed something so lemme know if you see Batman get punched or not haha. The combat is pretty good, the levels are fun, and overall it was just a great little batman beat em up. The music isn't great, and the graphics on the characters look a little weird, maybe someone has some insight on that. Is it kind of like Mortal Kombat where they based it off of a video of people doing the moves? Anyway, grab a friend cause this game is actually 2P, and beat your way through the movie to see the crazy ass boss at the end lol. BIG RIDDLER!

The Batman Forever console game developed by Probe Entertainment (later Acclaim Studios London), known for porting many arcade titles including Mortal Kombat. And it's not terribly great since it did use MKII's engine!

It’s like mortal kombat

I loved this game growing up. People love to bash it because it was like Mortal Kombat mixed with Batman-that’s why I loved it. Those two things mixed together should tell you it’s an awesome brawler-type game. Fun mechanics and cool fighting moves-thanks for the nostalgia with this upload. 🥹

While it's nowhere near as good as Batman Returns, I actually enjoy the soundtrack in this game. It is fairly atmospheric at times, even if repetitive.

Even though the SNES one looks better color wise, I like the Genesis version better for voice-over samples and NO LOADING. As a DC fan, I’m glad for the upload and I do kinda of like the music. For a better Batman game, please try The Adventures of Batman and Robin for the Genesis. It’s like Contra but with Batman and Robin which is completely different than it’s SNES counterpart. Hope you all are having a wonderful day.

What memories! 😁😁😁 Myself, my brother and a friend must've spent days trying to find out all the special moves and abilities of all characters when playing the Training Game Mode. If I remember correctly, I think a 2nd player could play as any of the other NPC characters throughout the game.

A lot of people in the comments saying this is like Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat did not have an amazing intro movie like this game. Also Mortal Kombat has a big character roster for variety. Well that is stupid, just play as Batman! He is better than Mortal Kombatants.

Oof, this one hurts. Just about every port of this game sucked, although the Saturn and PS1 got ports of the completely different arcade version. I played the Genesis and DOS versions as a kid. In both instances, I couldn't even get past the first level.

Bad controls is what killed this game. The sprites of this game are pretty much sprite swaps of characters from the 16-bit SNES ports of Mortal Kombat games. Not surprisingly, Acclaim were the porters of Mortal Kombat games. You're better off watching a playthrough of this game than playing the game yourself. Poor Acclaim. They've made the same mistakes Atari did the decade prior and about a decade after ESRB began, it became extinct. I feel sorry for myself getting this game as a child.

batman forever is Mortal kombat rebuilt for batman. they put MK's controls and suck random bat gizmo controls in it. i personally never beaten the game, but maybe i just suck at it. that or i lost patiance with it because i can't get pat the first hole in the floor. do yourself a favor and stay away from this pile of bat crap.

*THIS IS F**KED BEYOND BELIEF!!!!!* It's like the controls in this game are like something you do for a cheat code, not a basic move that you have to do in order to play the game! Why'd they program it in such an asinine, ball-brained, cockamamie ridiculous fashion?! It's like, geez, there's four buttons right in front of the controller! Like that's not enough to work with? Instead, they have to, like, program it, like, all into, like, weird, kinda, crazy button combinations and s**t?! It's like, what were they thinking?! It's like, up is jump?! Select for the grappling hook?! Select shouldn't even be part of the game, select should be like for the menus, or something. I mean, jeez, like, were they trying to just ruin this game? Just flat out, just f**k it up?! Well, they did! Batman Forever, it sucked back then, and it sucks forever!

The movie was great. This game....not so much. 😂

Man… this Batman game… is terrible! The worst part, which is not even gameplay, is the loading screens! OH MY GOD!
