I wasn't a big fan of Mamodo Fury, but I love this one. Very fun. The difficulty is just right, graphics look nice and atleast this Zatch Bell game teaches you about the anime unlike "Fury" did. There's 5 story modes and the 5th one requires a cheat at the title screen to be unlocked (really weird imho). But yeah, all story modes are shown. During the story mode, you choose an area to check out. The area is either empty, has a coin reward or has an enemy. You just keep cycling the areas and find all of the battles to complete the story mode. There is a possibility I might have skipped over a battle as I believe it's possible to find the final boss battle before you find the second last battle... but I'm not too sure about that. Anyway, the battles are all the same anyway so whatever
you know me game got Mamodo battle Was the first game I ever got and the second was mamodo fury Because I knew you had more story and more characters And more movement too 🙂
@@jasonleaf5719 You know the Bao Zakureuga is just super overpowered but I made use of it in the other story modes, so you get a bit of both. Was hoping that would minimize the complaints.
@@michaelaburns734 the dub had such a heavy hitting cast of voices. Steve Blum was even on there doing random voices for multiple characters. Truly, a dub I wish they would've finished.
This was the last game I played on the PS2, and I was close to 100% it (I only needed to unlock Kanchomé's and Brago's powered-up forms), but I got a PS3 and had to take one console to play it, I chose to take the PS2, and Zatch Bell!: Mamobo Battles was (well, still is) one of my favorite games. Thankfully, now that I have a good PC, I downloaded a GameCube emulator PLUS the game's ISO, and FINALLY managed to 100% it (my first and only 100%). I plan to do the same with the Japanese version.
Can I get a link to the emulator? I really love this game and I threw away my Ps2 so I can't play it. I'd really love to play this game again because it brings back a lot of memories.
@@weslleydecarvalhomachado1728 At the title screen, press: Up 2 times, Down 2 times, Left 2 times, Right 2 times, B, A. Then, go back to the title screen and repeat the process, bur changing the order of A and B.
I'm not sure how the fight would've been set up, but I would've liked to see Wonrei vs Tia (which, I think, is the only fight story mode lacks besides fights featuring Victoream or Laila)
If you're on Gamecube use this code on the title screen UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT B A (or A B) 1 unlocks zenos story mode the other unlocks him as a playable character
Can I please get a link to download this game? This was a part of my childhood and I'm so sad I can't play it. This is probably the only way I'll be able to play it by using an emulator.
