I just love watching the two of you together. Cherish those moments. My son had a very special bond with my mom. He was devastated when she passed away in 12/2009 and now we are devastated because we lost him in 9/2022. So just enjoy all that time together and Cody, you are such a joy to listen to, your work is beautiful and Glenda, you must be a very great teacher and grandmother. ❤️
Having a partner to ‘talk shop’ with is so fun. Having a partner on your channel gives a different dynamic that is refreshing. I like Cody’s perspective as a new crocheter as opposed to your seasoned aspect. Great duo!
Cody, I love your blanket. Looks very cozy. I think it would be the perfect size for a toddler and older. Can’t get over how well you picked up crocheting and the stitches you are doing. You are amazing!
Cody you did a fantastic job on afghan and videos helping you CG lol. You are so good and so fast. I wish I could crochet that fast. My preference on the border since ask is a color border. But I know which ever you choose will look great. I love the pastels and the colors like you Grandmother. Love watching you both. Enjoy! I see the bee ha between you both. So cute.
Wow, I’m so impressed how well Cody expresses himself. Such a mature young man, you should be a proud grammy❤ and I love love love his baby blanket. I also love the peppermint afghan you did and can’t wait for the upcoming video. Again, kudos to Cody 😊
I am just thoroughly enjoying these videos with Cody. I always look forward to the next one. What a beautiful relationship you have. What a super cool young man. He gives me hope for the future.
Cody did a very nice job on the blanket. You are talented, Cody. I think a white border would be nice and do a single crochet of multicolor as the final row.
Cody‘s blanket is absolutely gorgeous. His crocheting is excellent and I love the idea of separating the veraigated with white. What a great idea. Thank you so much. Love the teamwork between the two of you. It really makes it fun. Don’t think it needs a border.
It's so wonderful to see a young person pick up a craft. Cody does such a great job! Glenda, you seem so happy! Great job to both of you! I see Cody's bee hiding behind you on the shelf. He's so cute!
Congratz Cody!! You're doing amazingly well with your crocheting!! Grandma is so very proud of you I'm sure!! Keep on hookin!! 👸💜🤗 BTW, I spied the Bee!! 🐝
This is the best…having your grandson with you crocheting and inspiring each other…it warms my heart ❤️ Cody you are doing great being a new crocheter! All the blankets are so nice…thanks for sharing Glenda and Cody.😊🧶❤️
😮Cody, you really need to give yourself a pat on the back. You are doing great projects. I like your choice of colors. Glenda, your blankets are gorgeous. I love them both. Y’all are doing a great job. I’ve really been enjoying the videos of your blankets. I think white for the boarder.
I can totally see the pride in Glenda’s eyes when Cody is talking about crochet. I have 5 soon to be 6 grandchildren and the oldest wants to learn. She’s 9 and I’m not the best teacher.
Cody is a wonderful young man. I have three grandchildren all boys I wish one of them would show an interest and inspire me like he has to you Cody keep up the excellent work. You are a dream.
I have trouble with my beginning chain. It always ends up tight. I believe Hooked by Robin gave a tip to move up on your hook size just for the chain and then switch to your hook size for the project. Works very well for me. There is no pulling effect on the blanket. You two are great. ☮️🌎🌲
If I was a young gal, I’d marry Cody for his crocheting skills😊❤. Glenda, your grandson is such a sweetie helping you on your channel with filming and now he is making your blankets and adding his flare with different colored yarns. I love the colored swatches with different size hooks and yarns you make to illustrate many things.❤🎉❤
I'm so happy that you have a grandchild who appreciates what you do. Its sooo nice to witness. I don't have anyone neat me that likes yarn and crochet either.
So good to see you both again Love the afghans Looking forward to the tutorials You're so lucky to have Cody to share you Craft with Wish I could talk my grandson into crocheting Can't wait for the next video
Love the stitches on Cody's blanket! Border is good, my suggestion would be start with white and then use the same Caron cake to finish. Your Christmas blanket supreme!
How about choosing a solid color from one of the colors in the cake. The blanket is beautiful, Cody. It’s wonderful to see a guy crocheting. Well done!
The blanket is beautiful! I like to frame stripes in a contrasting darker color border because I think it really makes them stand out- how fun to have your grandson enjoying the same craft you do Glenda ❤️
Cody is doing a tremendous job. I love his blanket. I think a simple white border would make the colors pop. I see Cody's bee poking out on your shelf.
I’ve just had my 30 grand child and have another great great grand son this month .yes I have a lot of grand kids great grandchildren and great great grandkids. And another one so far next year right now. Keep up the good work.and have a safe and blessed day.
What a Pleasure watching you two tonight. ❤️❤️ It was like you were talking right to me. Love All that you showed and keep doing things together!! 😘😘🧶🧶
Cody you are doing great. Yes you can do the border. I would do it in the multicolor 😊. CG don't rip that block apart just use it as the center of a blanket. Just design one in the round around the center like if you made a mandala in the middle.
I love Cody's afghan. I instantly saw a white border. Cody is a wonderful stitcher! Your Christmas Star blanket is gorgeous Glenda! I love it! It is kind of $$$ prohibitive! The peppermint blanket is also very unique and pretty. I love the Premier shimmer yarns! I love seeing the two of you crocheting and working together! It is really beautiful!
Oh my goodness! Cody is doing such a great job! I always say --- the border is the frame around your masterpiece💗Looking forward to the tutorial for Cody's baby blanket.
I began puzzle maize in the crystal wave. After 2 skeins i unraveled an did your pumpkin spice pattern. I cannot tell you how beautiful it came out. And btw, the border made the biggest difference. I dread doing borders but i agree, it totally completes the afghan. Luv u an cidy❤❤❤❤❤
I love crocheting or knitting with a friend or group. It is hard to find that partner or group sometimes. We all have different interests and schedules. Yeah for the bond you and Cody have. ❤😊
Hi Cody, I absolutely love your blanket, your crocheting is coming on great, you should be really proud of yourself. Glenda, your pride in Cody shines through whenever you speak about him and all that he has achieved, it is so lovely to see. Personally, I think that borders come down to personal preference, I would use the multicoloured yarn and crab stitch to finish the blanket off. For me, a white border would be too stark and a fancy border would take the eye away from the beauty of the yarn and pattern. Love watching you both working together, I really hope that you keep it going. Have a lovely weekend, love from Lancashire, England xxx
Both of your blankets are quite pretty 😍. The Christmas blanket is going to be awesome. Glenda the block is absolutely gorgeous. I look forward to watching the tutorial for it.
Cody, I love your baby blanket. It is beautiful. All of the projects are beautiful. Glenda, when you talked about your projects. It was as if you were talking about me. I do the exact same thing.
Good evening Miss Glenda and Cody I cannot wait to see the beautiful yarn that you make into a blanket? I cannot wait to see the difference that makes to see what Cody does and what you do with similar yarn?😊 Cody you're a baby blanket looks amazing I love how you have the separated colors with the white it looks beautiful! I think the stripes would look really good for the border on that blanket❤! Glenda I think the Christmas star blanket is going to be beautiful!! Yes it does get cold in Pennsylvania cuz I'm in Philadelphia and it gets cold!😊 I think the blanket you're making with the peppermint Shimmer from Premiere is beautiful! With the colorway white Shimmer from premiere! Yes I think it is gorgeous!😊❤🎉 Glenda I think it is so wonderful that your grandson Cody is been working with you to do all this amazing crocheting and he does a great job! Glenda that flower block is beautiful! The baby blanket that's in the bag the premiere everyday anti pulling is beautiful!
I definitely like the Vintage Americana Christmas colors on your blanket. 🎉 Cody's toddler blanket is pretty. I'd say a simple white border would be nice. The Peppermint afghan is beautiful too. Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July. 😊
It really does help to have someone to bounce things off of and share ideas. All the blankets are gorgeous. Use both colors for a border on the baby blanket with the multi being the outside row. Thanks for sharing with us!
I am enjoying seeing Cody in these videos, and his love of crocheting. He did a great job on the blanket. I totally love your new blanket, I love your new country blanket, so much, I totally love country. I really want to make it. I love your Christmas blanket, so beautiful. All 3 blankets are so beautiful.
All the blanket are gorgeous…for Cody’s blanket, I would use the color, then white and end in the color. I was going to do the opposite, but thought of the outermost edge being white. Looking forwards to seeing the tutorials!!! Thanks Glenda and Cody!!! Now you both inspire one another!!! Stay safe and be blessed ❤ I see the bee in the cube above the RH Ombré.
Thank you for sharing your creative time with Cody. He is a great crochet partner. I love how his blanket came out and your peppermint blanket is beautiful.
👋 Glenda and Cody! Both of you have some beautiful "almost done" blankets. For Cody, I would put a simple sc border in white and then a picot row in the swirl yarn. The color will make the picots stand out. Glenda, you are gonna be the queen of borders! 👑 I see the bee is in another honeycomb! 🐝
Two rows of half double or double crochet and a picot row in the multicolor. I've done that for a lot of baby blankets and turns out so pretty! Love the blanket, Cody!
Great things to look forward to. I know what you mean by having someone to physically be there with you when you are crocheting. There is no better inspiration. Im happy you have each other
