Archon: “My mercenaries are spread across Makeb, you can’t stop them from alerting the fleet.” Sith Warrior: “Archon, I’ve come to bargain.” Archon: “Shit.”
@@Rhino-Prime A weapon, a shield, an armor, or a trinket do NOT a warrior make. Any fool can pick one up, but only a warrior can fight independently of them. These SLUGS aren't WARRIORS, they're massive sitting ducks and their sole defenses are hiding under a rock or relying on exosuits.
Bounty Hunter: I've come to bargain Archon: Filthy Merc.... Archon's Mercs: You know a change in our payment plan doesn't sound bad right now. Bounty Hunter: (kills Archon) You got a deal and a discount from my black market contacts. Marr: Oorah
@@loserinasuit7880 it is the "best revenge". Emperors from ages past are just as human as we are today, and don't always do what is best. It is far easier to say than to do and impossible to know with certainty.
How vette couldn't have patched her up I don't know. I mean she saves sith's ass in those battles... or she would be doing so with her healing Droid if he wasn't so far above the enemy's exp level
Because her injuries were from the story rather than from gameplay. It's this way in most RPGs---injuries and healing are cheap in combat but more realistic when they're part of the plot. Just like how you can kill people in a single shot or lightsaber strike in dialogue, but you know that if you fought them in combat that attack wouldn't even take of 5% of their health.
Better question, why didn't he have the regulators send a medic when they picked up the archon. The scene makes very little sense other then "required dramatic moment" for plot convenience. SWTOR's biggest strength became it's biggest weakness, the storytelling went from long running to episodic and isolated with the expansions. Meet a cool person? Can they die? Yes? Then they no longer exist in the universe even if they are alive.
Ok what? I remember it was a lot tougher when I fought it. You couldn't brute force your way through the barrier. You had to walk around the room to interact with some things. You had to avoid a BIG "F*CK YOU" LASER
I did this with a tank SW and got yeeted by that laser, and that was a few months ago. Second time around I was able to avoid that laser without much consequence.
"The hutt empire will return" *In Treya's Voice* Hm...No they will not Also YOU AINT DYING WOMAN YOU OWE ME A DATE.... Nooooooooooooooooo And you were warming up to better ways
Impressive Georgi! I hated this fight, the laser would always destroy me. Finally beat it by switching my companion to DPS while I fell back as needed.
Really annoys me in so many RPGs when a player's party has healing capabilities (Tons of potions/medpaks, healing magic/force, bacta bullets or whatever else) and yet people still die prolonged deaths. The whole "There may still be time to get you to a medic" bitch Vette has like a dozen medical gadgets, heal her now!
I couldn't bring myself to leave the fate of the Empire in the hands of mercenaries. They betrayed the Archon for cash, they'll betray you. Better a planet burn for the prosperity of the Empire.
My favorite part about this is that the “lightside” choice still implies that your character is perfectly willing to destroy the planet and if up to the archon, even the “lightside” choice would be destroying Makeb
Alas the Dark side doesn't do that They had to make up Sith Alchemy for that (mostly for mutation/crazy surgery though) Light side could always heal Just not when it would've stopped the entire plot of a movie where someone dies of sadness Or stopped someone's mom from dying of torture to trigger a slaughter
