I’m in a little neighborhood when I had that many dogs all the neighbors would literally knock on my door and ask, can they take their kids through to see the dogs and let them dogs good people with good intentions
With that kind of mentality, saying “be careful” is a given you always have to be cautious and careful with everything you do however, you sound like you have some fear backing that “be careful” and that’s a grave mistake. Thinking or being careful out of fear of your pet mulling, you or even trying to bite you is someone that does not need to own a dog, especially a large breed. Fear is the dealbreaker between man and dog they require pure dominance, if you are someone who believes they are safe and their dog wouldn’t hurt them not because it knows better, but because it loves you, that’s your first mistake. Your reasoning for expecting loyalty out of love is your downfall. That’s only a small component. Anyone can trust their animal, but still have a what if in the back of their mind and this is what determines whether you’re a suitable owner for a large breed. Here’s a simple test you can take Ask yourself and if you believe your dog, whatever attack you or straight up turn on you and if you say no, but the no is driven by the thought that it could if it wanted to, but it loves you and your family so much then, it would never do that. It’s only a matter of time before you get bit or worse however, if you ask that same question and give the same answer No your dog would never do that but this time the reason being because you respect each other, and it understands that you would take its life in a heartbeat, if push came to shove. Without a doubt That truth inside of you resonates with the dog. Giving it lots of love and attention, while being disciplined and understanding, boundaries with proper training is also needed but it’s not difficult to lead these breeds, if you have that thing inside that no amount of Training Or studying or experience can give you it’s something within you that that dog understands and respects, and has already tested in one way, or another, accepting you as its leader.

It is not illegal to have that many dogs as long as they are sheltered proper food, and water as long as they have somebody there to be a caretaker to their needs if you’re clean your kennels have no problem so therefore no it’s not against the law to have that many dogs, specially with the proper paperwork license
