WATCH EPISODE 6 ► • HELLUVA BOSS - OOPS //... "Look At This!" Written by Sam Haft Co-produced by Sam Haft, SilvaHound, Shane Lance performed by Alex Brightman
I find it hilarious how Moxie’s dad is so confused about the Italian singing part because he’s Italian and he knows how he’s just singing random words 😭
1:46 He was literally saying “ Stink lasagna Limoncello side dish loud soft Good morning with clams Luigi, Florence, bucatini Wild boar, wild boar” I just love Fizz more and more 😭
it says that in the subtitles! not in this music video, but in the normal episodes they have subtitles now and not only is it great for people like me who need them, but they also have some gems, lol :) edit: need is a strong word, I’m not deaf or anything, I just have sensory processing issues and tinnitus which make it really hard for me to understand voices, especially when I can’t lip read, but my eyes work fine so I don’t have to rewind and listen 10-15 times when someone says something in a way my ears just won’t pick up, lol still, it’s really hard to watch videos that don’t have subtitles, lol
I love that little attention to detail: During Fizz's Italian song segment Crimson's henchmen seem to get emotional while Crimson is confused and Striker and Alessio seem bored and not interested.
It's so funny, when I have my coworkers watch any Helluva Boss episodes, they always (to my dismay) start zoning out during the songs and start looking at their phones. However this song literally had them all watching it the whole time. I guess Fizz is even good with grabbing humans poor attention spans, haha!
i also am ashamed to say that my mind tended to phase out during the musicals but damn it once i started watching them and listening they almost all really enhanced the episodes they were in. I'd say the only ones i really didn't care for was the season 2 ep 3 musical during the mob wedding and the season 1 episode 2 LooLoo Land theme song but the "i have a dream" callback was cute. The Striker theme song was dismissable but damn the follow up jokes were funny at least.
I love how blitz almost fell and fizz caught him and blitz started blushing, that really shows how much of a relationship they kinda have, enemies to friends in a quick snap
Lasagna contorni limoncello forte-piano (perché pianoforte l'hanno detto al contrario? xD) buongiorno vongole luigi firenze bucatini... ma non ho capito l'ultimo xD "Cingale"? cosa intende.. cinghiale? xD
That's because they want us all to LOOK... AT... THIS!!!!! I swear their metahumor is even better than their regular humor, which is the bomb. This show is freakin' amazing.
Watching it out of context since I haven’t seen the show yet, it’s basically “what do ya want me to do, dress in drag and do the hula???” mixed with Bohemian Rhapsody and it’s fantastic LOL
I showed this to my dad who’s never seen the show, and described it to him as “get help from Thor Ragnarok in song form, but with a lot less and a lot more planning somehow.”
I just imagine this as a dnd scenario Fizz: I want to distract the mafia with a performance. Dm: Ok, well despite your high performance stat, since they are actively trying to capture you, you're going to need to roll a really high number. Fizz: Nat 20 Dm: ... you get 2 minutes.
I love that the longer he goes he starts running out of BS to the point where he starts borderline trauma dumping. "I regret every event that got me in this place"
I truly love how Blitz throws trash at him for dramatic effect and tries to peace out, but then Fizz takes him to twirl and dance. (That's a beautiful animation too.) Then the detail of Blitz's face changing to enjoyment (perhaps even sexily excited) at 0:36 just to have Fizz take his keys- gets me every time.
That moment where Fizz started spouting gibberish, and rushed blitz, lives in my head rent free. From holding the key to the mystery, to fizz swearing knowing that he needed to distract for at least a another minute
I don’t know what’s more impressive; Fizzarolli’s ability to adapt to 3 different types of music, or his ability to distract the biggest crime syndicate in the Ring of Greed.
As an Italian I usually don't like when non Italian actors begin to babble in Italian with poor accent but idk why hearing fizzy saying random things in Italian made me die of laughter
as an italian who HOPED for Fizzarolli to be italian too when almost everybody I knew thought that he was French, I screamed of happiness. ANOTHER WIN FOR US ITALIANS!!!!!!!!!!!
@@IceMetalPunk I mean if he was French his name would have been Fisarolle, not Fizzarolli. He clearly has an Italian name. Now being a hell-born from Greed, I wouldn't give him any other nationality than "Hellish", since he was never an Italian sinner. And the fact that he barely knows 10 words in Italian proves that...
Bard: "I roll for performance as a way to distract the enemy." Dice: 20 DM: "I'll allow it....but only if you sing for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Right now." Bard: ....... *cracks knuckles*
Round of applause to Fizz for managing to make a 2 min 30 second song about nothing but literal bullshit. My favourite line of all time now comes from this song.
Crimson being confused and almost offended by Fizz's italian while the other guys are crying because supposedly they think he is saying something romantic or emotional never fails to make me laugh!
As an Italian I don't normally appreciate when people throw in Italian just because it sounds exotic, but as other's have pointed out, it was hilarious in conveying how he literally was scraping the bottom of his creativity barrel. Congratulations to everyone involved it was incredibly fun, both in the lyrics, the animation and the singing.
i found it funny that the guys hes escaping are litteraly Italian(not confirmed but they are the steriotypical mafiosos),so they litteraly knew he was singing bs 😭
@@deedoo2925I actually went back and counted It was in fact exactly 60 seconds (give or take) from when Blitz said that to Striker realizing Blitz was in the rafters
This and House of Asmodeus are my two favorite songs from Helluva Boss. I think Stolas' theme also follows them pretty closely, I just really love these songs!
1:24 "I'm gonna need another 60 seconds!" The fact that it DID take approximately that long before Blitz was more or less done setting up the escape route is THOROUGHLY impressive!
I think my favorite detail in this song is when Fizz hands Crimson and Striker the coins. Striker is like “what the fuck is this?” And Crimson is just biting it to see if it’s legit.
As someone who knows minimal Italian, I was really confused about why his grandma would be talking about a guy named Luigi and Pianos, until I got to the end about the wild boar and I was like oh, he’s talking shit
It's so cool on the writer's part how, when blitz says he needs another 60 seconds, it takes almost exactly 60 seconds before he tossed the dynamite at Fizz, signaling the fact that he was ready. The timing is just great
This is definitely the best song in the series. Alex Brightman's vocals, the fact that it's literal bs, how into it some of the goons were getting, Crimson's reaction to Fizz's faux Italian, it all just comes together perfectly.
I love how excluding Striker they’re all members of Crimson’s mob and therefore everyone here except for maybe Striker speaks Italian but then the goons are too into it to pick up on the fact that he’s literally calling himself out on speaking gibberish in two languages, Striker could go either way because he still just looks confused, and then Crimson is clearly going “Why the fuck is this lunatic just spouting out random Italian words?” and you can tell that Fizz pieced that together quickly and that’s why he specifically pulled around Crimson at that point; to keep him further disoriented and thus pacified
I feel that does not just happen in the Italian part. The goons are captured right away by the whole spiel, but Striker and Crimson have a constant "WTF?!?" expression on their faces and especially in the beginning are the ones that at least try to follow what Blitz is doing. So Fizz targets them specifically all the time.
@@Zekaria_Vanwood oh they had to. Exact same arm positioning, facial expressions and the fact that they were able to just DO it on command… they probably put YEARS into that little move
If I had a nickel for every time Alex Brightman played an unhinged demon clown who sings, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s kinda weird that it’s happened twice.
Fun fact: If Fizz is singing ‘Chinga le’ he’s saying ‘fuck him’ in spanish, if he is saying ‘chíngale’ he is saying ‘get a move on, hurry up’ in Mexican. You can choose which one he’s saying.
If you listen to the “Look At This!” demo by Sam Haft - it reveals the only real difference is the italian part. But it’s still funny to imagine him doing improv the whole way through.
I love how out of ALL the amazing songs in the HB roster that fans have begged them to officially release as a standalone video, they decided to release the 2 minute song about literal bullshit. Never change, Viv.
To be fair, this song that is literally a distraction is the perfect distraction from fulfilling fan requests. In my opinion, this is also the most creative and best song they have released so far, so to pick this to be on of their first seems fitting in so many ways.
he's literally based on the Italian mafia, he knows what fizz is saying, (I do too but not cause I speak italian) he's literally just saying random shit
Alex brightman deserved to be on Broadway and even though I never got the chance to see him I really wish I had gotten to see the first (and best) beetlejuice
I just love how fizzarolli uses classic clown props as normal day items like at 1:36 where he uses the rope of cloth like a tissue and just with the rest of the episode, he literally says when one of his props doesn’t work “thats was supposed to work” like he actually did it before it just makes his character even more wholesome
That person is Sam Haft if you're curious. He even mentioned this song in a previous stream about the music in the show. He mentioned that he didn't let himself go back to proof read the song, cause it had to spontaneous.
I love how Fizz knows which one of them is losing interest in the bit at any given time so he grabs them and makes them part of it 😂 it’s especially obvious with Moxie’s dad during the “Italian” part lmao
I'm late but I wanted to point out that when Fizz says "I hold the key to the misery" at 1:06 he's holding the Necronomicon from the evil dead series. Also I freaking love this music keep up the good work!
Fizzarolli went from "that one random guy who hates Blitz for some reason" to "wholesome cinnamon roll, most protect at all cost, one of my all-time favorites" in a single episode and I thank you for that
I agree! This is one of my new favorite episodes now. Fizz is so adorable! One of the things I love about this series is that even side characters are getting deeper storylines. Fizz could have stayed a one-sided character, but this episode made him lovable and even relatable. Can't wait for more!
I love how Blitzø says that he need 60 seconds, and right after that time at clip they escaped, although he changed the plan right in the air Truly a man of his word
“The secret to Bitcoin, Computers and Microchips!” Bro that scene went hard, the animation team probably had a blast working on this song. *Edit: How did this comment get so many likes?*
Im so freaking happy they got Alex Brightman. Literally always puts his all into any role he plays. I was worried the beetlejuice musical was the last id hear from him. This is a serious gem.
2:12 The implication of Fizz being able to shake Striker around like a battered child means that he could make for great fighter if he was trained in combat
Crimson and striker sharing brain cells 0:03 >:( 0:19 ?💢 0:56 oh no he’s coming over here 🤦♀️ 1:01 money? 1:09 O-O 1:32 ?🤔 1:44 wth… 1:47 bro there harmony of moving as far away from woman fizz as possible is hilarious 1:52 oh f there goes crimson 2:01 so sick of life by this point lol 2:09 wha? 2:18 Ew… 2:23 ??. 2:25🔫 2:33 op there they go again O-O
Can we just appreciate how freaking smooth the song is in its transitions of genre? Like we first had a circus themed one, then electro, and then metal?
