That's the 1984 "Going Strong" promo (used to commemorate 10 Years of ITV Edmonton) it was followed by "Watch Us Now!" in 1985, and then "Looking Good" from 1986-87 (which showed a shot of the ITV logo animation from that promo).
Growing up I was only aware of two channels. In Grande Prairie we only got CBC and CFRN. Not sure when I discovered ITV. I think it was when I was at my dads one summer in Fort Assiniboine lol
Bilal Ahmed ITV Edmonton and Calgary 7 have been affiliates carrying Global TV between 1988-2000 until they bought them to become o&os of the network, Alberta is the last province that Global owned it's stations here

We really lost something when stations like ITV and CFAC in Calgary stopped being independents with some great local programming and became unexceptional parts of just another friggin' Toronto-controlled network (Global).
