I try to chose timeless peaces too, especially when i buy more expensive things. My Chanel sunglasses weren't timeless, so after 5 years i really didn't like them anymore. Now i bought a Gucci sunglasses that i know it will still be classy and not outdated after 3 or 5 years and longer (if i don't lose them or break them) The furnishing at our house is also classy. We don't like the trendy stuff that isn't nice anymore after 2 years. And we really don't like to have the same stuff that so many other people have.

I just love that Anna’s hauls are mostly of things she’s gonna wear and the fact that she doesn’t do more than maybe 7/10 pieces aaanddd that she donates the stuff she’s not gonna wear . It’s horrible what other “influencers” do with massive hauls that end up thrown away , but Anna is classy even on this🤍✨ love these series so so much ! Ladies! One of my FAVORITE airport outfits is a black midi dress, sleek white leather shoes, and a long sleeved linen shirt. It is comfortable, keeps your warm (the skirt part of the dress is almost like a blanket), and you don’t have to worry about it touching the ground and getting dirty (especially in the lavatories). Grab a cashmere wrap for some extra warmth and you’re good to go! If you need a cold weather outfit, you can easily modify this by adding tights and layering a sweater over the top. Or you can switch to a sweater dress with tights. So versatile, chic, and comfortable!

I love how this video was essentially an argument in favor of linen. Because I love linen. It is the best most versatile fabric and it is so functional as well. I sweat a lot in summer and linen has really helped keep me cool and dry. Also if you have a very good consignment shop near you you can pick up linen for half the price of the things shown here.

@@chosenhighheart depends on the weight of the fabric, some linens are heavier than others. I know because i sew and there is sheer ,handkerchief linen , light to medium , medium upholstery and canvas weights.

Ive been dressing more Anna approved only for two months and I already have people calling out how elegant I am, how I always look “put together” and in a recent NYC trip I looked better in pictures and friends said I totally belonged in NY fashion! To top it off I’ve been buying a ton of linen for a trip to the Philippines and I was gonna return most of it thinking it wasn’t Anna approved. One was a shirt dress and one was a button down shirt. After this video I’ll keep both because I see how you styled them. Thank you!!

I just bought (thrifted, actually) a vintage linen shirt dress with eyelet detailing and wore it today for Easter Sunday. Of course, I added a tiny belt to accentuate the waist, because I listen to Anna’s advice about linen, A line shapes, and waist emphasis! I felt so elegant in this timeless look especially compared to a lot of the fast fashion dresses I saw. I just know I’ll be wearing this dress for years! Feeling like a true elegant lady

I love your content. I love the fact that you are trying to bring back class and style to women. The media and the stores have promoted lazy or inappropriate style for so long that most females grow up thinking this is appropriate and normal. But one of my favorite things about you is your humility. I loved the fact that when you seen you wore the dress wrong you showed us that. Instead of hoping we wouldn't notice. That stuff makes me trust you even more because you're willing to admit when you're wrong without someone calling you out. We don't always have the same opinions as people but this thinking definitely attracts me and keeps me following you as best as I can.

The older I get, the more I appreciate natural fabrics! I used to not mind polyester etc. at all, even wore those awful Victoria‘s secret pyjamas, now I cannot even stand it. I doubt anything would last year after year from MD. I stopped shopping there and in fact on the high street a few years ago (the quality might have changed but I doubt it). I bought a silk shirt, wore it for an hour and on the way to a very important meeting I realised there are holes all over the sleeves. Literally, the silk stretched so quickly,was shocked. I managed to cover it with a sweater. When I went to return it and explained what had happened, there was no apology, nothing. So for me, MD equals terrible clothes and terrible customer service.

I totally agree, I had quite a few pieces from this store, they were beautiful and the fabrics felt nice, but none have lasted long. Either shrunk, discoloured or got easily damaged

I'm obsessed with linen especially after being ill with covid. I had a terrible fever and my linen nighty and bedspread were the only things that saved me from burning up! I am glad I invested in some linen pieces and will be buying more as I find pieces I like . I also find linen holds up better when washing -just wash on cold and hang dry then press when half dry. Its also more eco-friendly in its production -it also doesn't need pesticides or good soil to grow.

Honestly, I’ve been thinking about how your complete wardrobe looks like and this video is the answer. I actually found a knitted cream colored sweater from Massimo dutti on secondhand. I didn't know the brand but I instantly felt that the material was better than most, like HM, Zara. I bought it for 9 euro. 😄😄😄 And I have had it for 2 years now, it still looks good.

My problem in finding comfortable but elegant clothes for travel is that: I am really small, the size of a teenager. I love Massimo Dutti but most clothes are too big for me and this is really problematic. I shorten my clothes all the time and I befriended a tailor who does an amazing job but still, making a garment to be two sizes smaller in general is risky and quite expensive (when I have already paid a fair amount for the item in the shop). So I can find clothes for me in teenagers’ shops and it means: sweatpants, jeans and t shorts. For over a year I have been struggling to build a small collection of tops because Anna recommended to wear tops instead of t shirts and sometimes I am jus hopeless and sad. Because I love tops from Massimo and Tatuum but they are too big for me. Intimissimi one year ago had a beautiful shortsleeved top made of cotton and silk. I bought four and I hoped that the would be sometime in dofferent colours. But now there aren’t such tops! So I hate the fact that I am forced to wear ugly t shirt. Anna says that dressing nicely and comfortably is easy but for me it is not. Finding good cotton t shirt that is in a fair price, in a right colour and at the same time in a natural material is already a burden for me. And finding a short sleeved top? Nightmare. But sewing your own clothes is quite expensive as well so I am stuck trying to build a capsule of elegabt homewear and casual pieces without wasting too much money only for logos or someting like that. Finding a shirt or a pair of chinos is a little bit more easy so I have a capsule of smart clothes for going out but for more casual occasions when I want to be really comfortable (travelling and sitting at home) I still look horrible in sweats, jeans and t shirts Edit: wow, guys, thank You that all of You responded so nicely! My problem is that I live in a small country so I don’t have access to independent firms specialising in petite clothing. I even had to have my high heels bespoke made for me because I have such thin feet :(

i have the same issue, im so skinny and petite and now when the vanity sizing is gone of so much, everything thag fitted me before, is now bigger even when it still says in the label that it is xs/xxs or 32/34eu. even underwear is hard to find cause the normal stores i usually purchased them, are making them so much bigger now, i have compared side to side the same ones bought before to the new ones with the same size label and they are made few sentimeters wider now. every year the garment gets few cm bigger, but the same smallest size label stays. it was hard to find clothes before, but now it is almost impossible. i have to sew my self all of my pants to be slimmer to fit me. im glad that i own seam and sewing machines and i can use those my self, but it is a lot of work, and the items shape changes when taking some of the fabric of, like placement of pockets change etc.

Can you look into Petite Studio? They're not cheap but the quality is really good and they only do petite sizing so it may be small enough for you. They do a range of more structured items so you won't be stuck with t-shirts.

Similar struggle sis. I am 1.5meter 😭😩 being short /small sized is as good as being disabled.

@@mindyxm my problem is that I live in a smaller european country. So we don’t have a varoety of shops and people in general dont pay attention to quality so shops focus only on the small price tag. And there are few independent firms that I found and that the sizing is ok for me (still I shorten my dresses) and I dont have easy access to the firms abroud because of huge costs for international shipping and sometimes costly returning policy

I didnt have a good experience with Massimo. For the price, I was expecting way more quality. Itens I bought looked old and worn out after only one wash. COS has way more quality, actually even some pieces from Mango. Thanks for the video!!😘

I looked and didn't see the clothing link, Ana. Will look again. Happy 🐣 Easter. And yes today will be watching for Ana Easter Bunny to reveal fav stores. I have gained weight in middle age and nothing I do seems to matter. Hard to get used to when I was once very trim. Please share some ongoing choices.
