This conflict has changed me as a person with the help of people like him, from what I watch to what I read. I was already moving away from the Democratic Party since 2012 but finally completely cut all ties, though can’t vote Republican either. Taking a red pill is painful and makes you feel like a total idiot for what you believed in and somewhat of a lonely experience, but it’s never late to help make a better world with the truth.

The process one goes through to see an image in the mirror that flies in the face of their previous idea of that image is always uncomfortable and jarring. It's also the most necessary process for humans to go through if they want to become truly empowered. Saying as though certainty is the most cherished value for most, we'll choose to ignore the truth in favor of convenience. We don't want our identities to crumble. But what if that identity was based on a lie? Guys like Gideon are proof positive that reconstituting our identities can result in an empowered clarity. Armed with that clarity, we can lay the cycle of lies/distortions to bed. Doing so is not only good for the individual, but everyone they touch moving forward.
