Do you think this is too advanced for an 8 year old?

I think it depends on the 8 year old. At 8 years old my son would’ve struggled with something like this. He wouldn’t have been able to read these books and some of the work might’ve gone over his head. My son is not advanced and probably what would be considered right on grade level. If your 8 year old is able to handle more he might be able to do it. I hope this answer is helpful.
