Teardown - Look inside Magnat quantum 916 High-End class Center channel loudspeaker speaker - What's Inside? How to remove grill for this home cinema or HiFi stereo system setup speaker and How to disassembly & assembly this D Magnat quantum 916 3 driver speaker. This center speaker cost around $600-700 and it you can see on build quality and materials. Excellent look, weight and performance. SOme alternative magnat center speakers: Magnat Monitor Supreme Center 252, Magnat Shadow Center 213, Magnat Quantum Center 72, Magnat Quantum 73, Magnat QUANTUM 1000 Center, Magnat Tempus Center 22.

Hi, can u help I have a paradigm reference studio CC v2 When listening to music left woofer and thweeter produce sounds and right woofer only bass is that normal for mtn center channel to do or should all the woofers produce sounds at the same time please help me

@@Techscrews Hi i thank you very much again because your videos are extremely educational. They put the focus on drivers, x-overs and cabinets construction ... especially drivers in my opinion set the limits acheivable by a speaker. A great designer can extract the most from a driver but cannot go beyond the drivers' limits, of course. I opened some cheap speakers and i was shocked by the poverty of their drivers. Actually i am trying to understand which brand offers the drivers with the best q/p ratio ... i am a lot on DIY and sourcing drivers, especially good woofers, is very very expensive indeed. If you have other suggestions i would be very thankful Kindest regards, gino

i came to this video with a center speaker dyi search. You showed insides of a quality speaker .. Now my question is about the crossovers , i see two big coil inductors there for two woofers , must be about 2mh or so, WHY shaving of high and mid frequencies from woofers when the main idea of the center channel is for Vocals mids and voices???? as there is nothing else in this speaker specific for mids?? how can this speaker sound good for mids??

I'm trying to figure out what the fins on the magnet are for. Its not making much contact so it cant be for cooling.

speaker driver have shielded magnet system, that made of neodymium, in which Copper rings for low inductance and good thermal conductivity. More can find out on google.

i believe that those are heat sinks, if i am correct than yes they are for cooling.

Взглянув на компоненты фильтра - цена этой акустики в два раза ниже должна быть, но маркетологи и манагеры знают своё дело... Про драйвера, напрямую привёрнутые саморезами к корпусу колонки(без закладных или чего то подобного), это вообще трЭш.

That’s how all shit is made now. I’ve taken apart some crazy expensive stuff and it’s just done so cheaply. Except for amplifiers, audio is so damn overpriced. Speakers are 1/7th the cost to make that we buy them for

..Вроде круто ,но собрано по китайски неаккуратно=напихали,завинтили-продали....надо доводить ,я свою доработал и другой фирмы центр-поменял местами динамики=теперь в качестве центральных пара+пара от м.ц так-же доработал""...

High end?. In what universe?. You can't count 33mm for the baffle where the speakers lay because they lay inside of the 33mm. It's the actual thickness of where the speakers are screwed into and not around it is where you get the correct baffle measurements. Very cheap and cheesy crossover for a " High end" center channel speaker. Sandcast resistors don't go inside High end speakers. That alone tells you this speaker is budget range.

You scan around and move the camera entirely too much. Or at least too fast. The stuff we actually would want to see we have a split second to take it each part of it. With a nuance heavy video topic... like a good stripper you gotta show the goods!

real wood cost too much, they use real wood veneer, that give a look and nice feeling. For sound main think are material thickness which prevents resonance.

"Real wood" is not homogeneous, which is why it's not a good choice and why MDF is better. If you want real high-end, you go for a custom plywood, like on B&W 800 series, or aluminium, but that requires expensive custom equipment. A lot of highend (and I'm talking real highend, not magnat) speakers have cabinets made of MDF.

@@royk007 You know absolutely nothing. For a Neodymium, that's actually a decent size + bigger isn't always better, as you don't want the motor be too strong for the moving mass, which would make Qe (and therefore Qt) of the driver too low, which would result in the impossibility of getting some bass from the speaker. You want the magnet to be just the right size, not to be as big as possible.
