Beautiful home, but I personally couldn't justify spending 14+ million on a home pancaked between other homes and absolutely no view, just seems crazy to me. But I'm also a broke student who can't afford a free lunch, so who am I to talk...

For those complaining it's too white, look at the outdoors. Vancouver is grey 8 months of the year, really nice for 2 3 months. It's only mild winter major city in canada but at this price you can buy a nice house in Florida or even California if you are able to live there

I live in the greater Los Angeles area, and even in Beverly Hills I'm pretty sure a house like this wouldn't go for anything like 15 million, even with the conversion to U.S. dollars, which would put it at about 11 million, and the half million price reduction.

Nice house, however...too close to the neighbors for the asking price and the interior decor is devoid of personality and warmth. Too much white/marble makes it feel clinical and cold.

Yup it's hard living in Vancouver. Avg home with lot is over a million. And I'm not talking about a mansion, more like a 1800- 2000 sq ft house built in the 70's on a 6-7000 sq ft lot. And your avg townhouse is over 750k

@@adamr7981 A lot of it is land value too. Ave plot of land 6500 sq foot in most of the lower mainland is about 760k. In the greater Vancouver region, just the land alone goes for 860-950k for the same size.

I am a senior. When I was 16, I saw my $100,000 home. I said "someday I want to marry a man who makes $30,000 a year and I want to live in a $100,000 home." Well, I did both...regrettably. : I now live in Vancouver and pay $2000 a month for a basic one bedroom apartment...but location, location, location and marriage -- sometimes you are better alone. Happy in my later years.

Gorgeous property, love everything about it but I think this mansion should be on a large property with a long driveway. It is a shame that the neighbours live so close. For sure people who buy a 15+ million property are able to pay a little more and have a larger piece of land with more privacy.

This house is gorgeous, but it’s overpriced. The interior and exterior design is superb! The decor, to the layout, to the choice of lights! Definitely worth a few million, just not over 8 million, I would say. Just so you know this is my opinion, you might think it’s worth a bit less or more, you might not like the design and everything, but, in all this house is designed beautifully!

It's Vancouver. Overpriced to the max. Houses that don't come anywhere near the square footage or as stately in appearance as a mansion and they still have the audacity to call it one. It's also built on a lot the size of a postage stamp. It's absurd.

Yes it is absurd. It's not a mansion. It's just a big house. A small movie theater room does not make it a mansion. And neither does an indoor pool if it's an indoor pool because there's no room for an outdoor pool. A mansion is a big home with enough land for a swimming pool, tennis court, horses, lots of gardens, and not having to see or hear your neighbors.

You maybe cooking something that has a lot of odor/smoke and you probably don't want all of that to go into the main living space... This design really helps with that.. also, you can keep all the pots/pans in there and have the main kitchen looking nice and neat at all times without all the clutter.

Dr.Scarab Asians and South Asians like to have 2 kitchens. One for wok cooking etc, other for general use. Then there could be small kitchenette for maid.
