Oh it must’ve been exciting to get that piece of equipment and I’m sure it’s gonna be very very helpful on the farm. Thanks so much for sharing my dear friend. Hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie. Can’t wait to see all the videos coming up in 2024 using that Tractor
Oh I'm excited! I finally have a wide front end tractor to work them gardens! I've been using a Farmall C to work the ground for several years. I have a few videos of me & my son(Jesse) using the C...Thank you for stopping by! Have a Blessed Week!
That's so awesome congrats ! Oh heck yeah it's always fun to play tractor lol . I never owned one but I played around on the 8 and 9 n's a few times . They always seemed like nice tractors to me . I have always been a Farmall Chevy guy myself lol . Thanks for sharing and enjoy the new play toy !
I like the wide front end, Both the Farmall's are both tricycle type. I can use my my 3 point cultivator for what its meant for... I remember having your address saved with some more youtubers. God Bless
That’s actually a 1950,51 or 52 because it has the side distributor which makes it much more desirable and it’s got the bigger oil pump so it has more oil pressure and the proofmeter and a few more upgrades that the early 8N’s don’t have! Nice tires nice rims overrun clutch on the PTO and a nice plow but it’s missing the colters but you can look for them and maybe the guy you bought it from has them hanging around and lastly the tin is in beautiful shape so if you ever decide to paint it she’ll look sweet 😀🇨🇦
Thanks for the Info! I haven't taken time to look up the serial. That was the year i told. I was just happy to bring it home! That was all there was to the plow, it was stored in an old building. I hope to paint it eventually. Have a Blessed Week!
Nice! I have a 1947 8N and have completely rebuilt everything but the motor and it runs great. The very BEST upgrade is to put an electric ignition. It cost about $100 and super easy to install, points and condensers are terrible, likely made in China. Your tractor looks to be built in 1950-1952 because it appears your distributor is mounted on the side of the engine, the pre-1950 models have it mounted between the fan and radiator. Very hard to work on, but yours looks like the newer model. HAVE FUN!
Thank you , I was told when i Bought it it as a late forties. But a commenter told me he thought it was in the 50's. I havent checked the serial no. but what he pointed out in the comments is correct!
