God they're so fun to watch, you get all those little choreographed moves and Bret just eating up that stage, even Rikki behind the drums is just entertaining as hell!!!
I've been to their concert more than 20 times since the 80's. I quit counting how many times. I probably went to actually see Poison half a dozen times. The rest of the times were because I wanted to see other bands they were touring with. They were really good live every single time I saw them. The only time that Poison got outshined was when Warrant toured with them. Warrant really wiped the floor with Poison. But, Poison didn't suck either. Warrant was just that good.
I was 9 when Poison came out, and they instantly became my favorite band. My parents were cool as hell, and only 20 years older than me so I was allowed to listen to all the cool music. I got this album on tape for getting good grades, lol
Went to bed too late, got up too soon, my poor head is still spinning from too much booze, man, I've been there many a time, haha, I'm 55 and still boozing, although, no more shots, I gave that up years ago! Wow!
CC’s guitar sounds clear and more loud than the others videos from this show , also without the annoying synthesizer , I would have loved if the cd had this sound
It is the CD version he has dubbed it over the in concert footage from ABC. It's easy to tell because he keeps saying miami like on the CD but this video was shot in California
Sometimes I have a hard time reconciling how the band is in live performances with how the guy that produced this actual album describes them. Called Rikki absolutely useless, Brett was incompetent, absolutely trashed on Bobby, and said the only musically competent one was Bruce (C.C.)
Yeah but that was during the recording of their first album, by this tour they had done 3 albums and 3 world tours, hundreds of dates.. CC said in an interview when starting the Open up and Say Ahh tour ( I believe).. When you play night after night after night for hundreds of nights you're bound to get at least a little better.. Hopefully.. They got better.
