Hi Carrie so lovely to see you. You were one of the very first sewing people I followed. You inspired me then and now. Don’t put pressure on yourself. Pop on and off when you feel like it. Xxxx
So lovely to have your videos back Carrie, you were one of my first sewing bloggers I started with 🥰 I’ve just purchased the bestie bag pattern / it’s exactly what I have been after for an everyday bag xx
So lovely to see you again, please just make what you want to make and wear. Life can be stressful sewing doesn’t have to be stressful. I look forward to your next video.❤❤ Julie Tasmania Australia
Thanks so much for the shout out! I love the idea of a ghost story but get so so scared 😂 I agree with you about making practical items that you will wear, just as satisfying as a fancy dress.
Aaaahh how fabulous that you’re back. And what a lovely vlog too - love it. Great plans there and I absolutely love your Paige hoodie. I think I’m going to give that a go! Omg uncanny - I binged them all - and like you had a couple of scary moments and jumps - flippin love it ❤❤❤
Nice to see you back! We don’t all sew according to set plans. I like hearing people feel free to express their creativity in their own way. Regarding camouflage fabric, I could envision in a nice hoody tshirt style dress. Be free and enjoy…
I was so happy to see your video pop up! Here's my opinion. You got to a point where you had a good number of subscribers and loyal followers. We're still here. While there are a few vloggers who keep to a pretty rigid schedule, the majority do not, and that's perfectly ok! Also, please do not feel pressured to follow through on everything that you may lay out in a video. Most of us change our minds all the time as well. I think a huge part of the joy of sewing is the day dreaming and brain storming about all the possibilities. It is so fun to see what our favorite sewing vloggers are thinking about doing. There is a lot to be learned from watching the creative process of others. You have become an endearing virtual friend, and friends don't judge friends harshly. I think we can all relate to the ups and downs of life, and all the changes along the way. Whatever you chat about, you are a delight to listen to! I think your camo fabric would look great as a Tabitha! I love seeing fabric, and patterns, and what you might want to make each up in. I like pattern reviews, and makes videos. As mentioned, I like hearing the prices of thinking out loud about possibilities as well, whether or not the ideas become reality. Please just have fun. We love you and your channel!
I can’t believe it only yesterday I was looking at you last vlog to see when you were last here, and blow me down with a feather you are back. Great to see you and you are looking well🤗
I'm so glad your back🎉🎉. I love your style. You always look great. I am exactly the same with plans. Even if I cut out a few items I end up wanting to make something else. If you make more videos I will definitely be watching. No pressure. ❤❤
It is lovely to see you back.Just vlog what you enjoy and we will love it toIt must be great to have a husband who buys fabric for you, especially when it's so nice.
So sew good (!) to see you back! Love all your makes and I had to get the Mandy boat tee (as it’s named after me 😂) straight away! Hope to see you again soon x
Hi, I don't know what your name is yet, but I'll learn it because I love making new friends who love to sew as much as I do. ❤ I am Zelda and I have subscribed😅
This is such a coincidence, just yesterday I was going through the list of channels I’m subscribed to and when I saw yours, I thought I wonder if she’s ok and if she will be vlogging again. It’s good to see you back, I very much enjoy your energy and humor.
When I saw your stripe I thought of a hack I did to the Grain Line Hemlock T (free pattern). I lengthened the sleeves and put on a turtle neck following a tutorial from Susie at Threadquarters. It’s very cosy and loose enough to be comfy. Great to see your video pop up!💕🇨🇦
@@threadtherapy251 must mean you’re special/interesting ☺️ and I had 2 strokes last year then found out last month I was perimenopausal 😂😂😂 I had the same symptoms just heightened. Women need a medal after we get to 40 lol xx
Glad to see you! I had problems with Mandy and the one you made with the arms. I’ve just thrown the patterns away. Glad yours ok . I’m not going to spend any more time on them.
Yay nice to see you back here again. I'm with you less aspirational sewing...more real life. I'm currently cloning a gym vest. I only wear gym/ pj/ work clothes. However I have started dancing once a week just so I can wear something sparkly...put I get so hot I'm back to gym leggings and a vest!
Lovely to see you back! The camo jersey - free peppermint patterns jersey dress. Alternative to the Munro polo neck what about the paper theory lb pullover?
Hi, I also have patterns that don’t fit me which has put me off sewing. I love your bag, I’ve seen a couple of patterns which are similar as it looks like the viral Uniqlo bag - very cool😜
Lovely to see you again. It's just fun to hear what others are thinking of sewing up or what's been made. Please don't feel you have to have specific plans and stick to them. Who's keeping score? No one. Welcome back.
Lovely to see you again Carrie, along with your makes and plans. No apologies necessary as far as I'm concerned, we all go through different phases in life
So lovely to see you back.:-) TATB Nora would be great for your boxy turtle neck top. Sew over it have the Molly top and dress in the city breaks e-book, it's a great t-shirt dress.
I nearly messaged you yesterday when you posted the orange zip photo to ask if you would be back and here you are! Do you think Lucy (your sewing retreat buddy) would come back too?? Look forward to your next video 👍
Hi, nice to see you again. The dress you redid the hem of, for future reference, have you tried putting bondaweb hemming tape in it before you stitch to stabilise it? The camo fabric would look great as a tabatha dress. Glad you are back xx
You’re back! So good to see you on You Tube again! Can’t wait to see what you make. Don’t put pressure on yourself though - do this at your own pace, just lively to see you when you are able. Happy sewing 🧵 😊 🧵 xx
