Absolutely loved the fox.My family rescued an orphaned fox once. What a privilege and delight. She was the most loving, intelligent, creative creature I had ever met. We became her pack. I can tell you its an amazing experience having a cup of tea with a young, playful fox...on your head. Sadly, her life was very short, and regarded as vermin in Australia, we could get no help for her when she became sick. But she is unforgettable.RIP Berry. Blessings from Kaye to you, Colette.x

The fox is very fluffy, nice and fat. I live in the middle of the city surrounded by parks. When I look out of the window in the night I see a fox every now and then. The first time I could not believe it, I thought that it was a dog. One day I met him/her outside and we looked into each others eyes and he/she aloud me to take a photo of her/him. That was so amazing 🦊💛

5000 allotments in Rotterdam are in danger because of building plans ... We are fighting for our gardens but we have already got weird restrictions as not planting trees .... If any of you can find the petition and sign it , that can help... Volkstuinen , Rotterdam... I hope you don't mind my asking here , Colette ...but a lot of green is at stake here and a lot of people love their garden ...

It's unfortunate that you can't share the smells of the plants and the earth, as well as the gentle touch of a breeze on your face as you walk through the woodland gardens. It's certainly a place of magic and meditation. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 The beautiful fox! That would be a sight to behold. I hope she is safe and has chosen Bealtaine to have her pups. 🦊🦊🦊🦊

It was lovely to walk with you through the slowly awakening woodland and to be reminded that in nature nothing is ever the same. My walks are different every day as is the allotment and small garden. There is always something new to see and I still try to have those "wonder" moments that I remember as a child. In the summer last year I just sat and gazed at a buttercup sprawling across my beetroot bed and tried to imagine how it would be if I was seeing it for the first time and how wonderful it would seem. A very peaceful and intense experience. We forget to really look at what mother nature gives us as we become older and miss so much of her beauty and resilience.

Back home in Laois there is a fox (We also assume she's female) that largely lives in the field behind my parents house. My Dad watches her movements and has learned that she travels in a remarkably consistent routine. Last time I was home he predicted that she would walk across the filed into the neighboring field, harvest a fodder beet, and take it back across the field to where here den is. She does this every day at around the same time. Fascinating creatures.

Hi Colette, while looking up the spiritual meaning of a fox I came across this .... cleverness, independent, playful, mischievous, beauty, protection and good luck .I would say that this describes you very well .The only thing it doesn't say is how very wise you are and how much we learn from you . When the world is busy going crazy and we just want to switch off the msm we watch and learn from you . Thankyou . Much Love xxx

What a beautiful, healthy fox. I feel we are so very very lucky to see such wonderful things. Walking my rescue greyhound Madge at 6.45am this morning, I walked pass trees where the owl was hooting, something you would never hear if you were in a car. I gave up my car, and live in a rural place, so have to get food, and anything I need, delivered, but I feel so lucky to be able to walk amoungst the wild things, and just enjoy nature, and all she has to offer, as you do Colette, in your wonderful wooded world. Love from Devon, England. xxx

We lived in the same place for 45 years, and the garden was huge and backed onto fields and ponds. We had 7 foxes who came daily...to begin with...then eventually their offspring and then, err... their babies 😂so you can imagine over a 45 year period, we had fox heaven! They didn't all stay around, only really the original ones plus a couple of new babies each year, the rest of the babies eventually left the parents and made their own way in the world. I fed them every day, and it would have been so easy and magical to 'tame' them, as in trusting us completely, BUT I knew of many local people who wouldn't have let them live, and I didn't want to gain their trust only for them to trust every human...We told nobody about them. I loved those foxes so very much, and watching their antics and behaviours was so fulfilling. They trained us beautifully😂😂 we quickly learnt their favourite foods...they ate better than us at times!!😂 They 'allowed' us to watch them from a distance, take photo's and if we were late putting their food out, they would come to the French doors and peer in at us 🤣🤣 along with the flippin' pheasants that were orphaned and we raised.😆 Oh, and the robins too; err the woodpigeon, blackbird, hedgehogs 🥰😆😆

Your project is my dear inspiration for transforming my bare new „garden“ where I moved to just 11 months ago. More rock than (acidic) soil, exposed to the elements and the sometimes rough winds from Bantry Bay. Last spring I started planting the first few trees (at least one hour to dig around those rocks), and some nice mixed shrubs for the pollinators. Currently I am delighted by the many gold finches (among lots of tits and just one robin, as it seems), a have been feeding them every early morning for many weeks. Thank for sharing, blessings to you!

Thank you Colette for sharing your wonderful account of Bealtaine Cottage. How wonderful to have the update on all of your vision for the land. To a degree I an relate to the joys of cottage life, my late Husband and myself Owned a small cottage with beam ceilings in Ontario. Nearby was the shores of Lake Simco and we had a Red Fox who lived in the field next to a large plot of land Of a country house . I would go cycling the quiet country lane’s and meet the fox Who often raided the old farmyard to catch a rabbit as there were many wild rabbits Around that homestead.Fox would also ramble across our property to get to the tract Of an old beaten path where the farmer would take the cows to drink from the lakeside, I felt such an infinity towards the red Fox 🦊 didn’t have any fear when Fox crossed My path. Today your vlog lifted my heart ❤️and my memories. Mary Canada 🍁

I’m sitting by my very aged mothers bed side while she prepares for her Long Journey Home; your video is so comforting during these long, lonely hours in the hospital here in Glastonbury. We’re near the Tor, Chalice Well and surrounded by the elemental energies of Avalon. We, too, are Celtic Pagans and celebrate Mother Earth and all She offers us. It’s strange (not strange) that Mum will end her time on Earth here as we are from the Isle of Wight - but my Grandparents lived at the top of Cheddar Gorge and then in Glastonbury town for years. We came twice a year for holidays…They work in mysterious and wonderful ways. The sounds of the birds and your gentle voice is beautiful. Thank you so much 💚 x

We have one acre in town, but I'm gradually filling it with trees of all kinds, berry shrubs, and I always have a veg garden of some kind. There is a creek and beavers found their way to it some years ago and built the most glorious dam that city zoning officials dismantled after a time. They've been back, but must have moved on, for I only have a few small trees chewed down. I have such love and respect for nature and I'm glad to have a small part of it and glad to witness yours.
