Magic in the Woods ~ Tales from the Cottage 

You know what it's like to see you've posted a video? It's like when someone surprises you with a nice cup of tea. Or when somebody grabs you for a hug. Or brings you a new plant. It's just bloody lovely!!! 💖💖💖 cheers Colette for lifting my spirits and calming me down.

Seriously Colette what a truly magical legacy you have created for future generations in the West of Ireland. What you have single handedly done is incredible ! The waterways & pathways, the diversity of little micro climates...it's just breathtaking... To watch these videos it is easy for me to feel the energies & atmosphers in all the different parts of your Woodland ...it's magic ! You are one of life's unsung heros & I hope with all my heart that in our lifetime you are formally recognised in some way for the love,dedication,hard graft & unwavering devotion you have shown The Great Mother ,in which we,all of us benefit 🙏 P.S...this footage most certainly shows the the gentle start of the thinning of the veil....it's wonderful. ❤️✨

Colette, thank you for that walk through the woodland. It always soothes my soul! Between health issues and logistics, I so seldom get to immerse myself in nature now. It's a lack that I feel keenly everyday! So I will rewatch this video many times. I quite agree with you about it not mattering all the time where you point the camera, there is always something interesting to see. I love when you zoom in on things, and I love when you pull out and give the broad picture. It's all beautiful!

Ah…you put up one of your walks, bless you. I’m sitting here in my kitchen. Just a few miles away there is wilderness. Northern Ontario bush stretching for miles between small towns and I can’t get to it without a car. But I’ve got half an acre of tree lined backyard and a ton of ideas about what to do with it, many of them inspired by you dear lady. You always make me remember how much I love the bush.

You do so well in connecting us all to nature and bringing us home to mother earth.

You certainly breathed life into your beautiful land Colette, best wishes.

I just re-created my own channel that is similar to yours but in the city. I mentioned your channel in one of the videos and tagged your channel but in it I mention how depressed I would get watching your videos. Not because of anything you do or say! Just because I couldn't have what you have. I also said I had to resubscribe to your channel because I just love it so much. I just needed to get to a place of acceptance with my situation I guess. I live and work in a city, live in a townhouse but am transforming it into my own magickal cottage in the city. We've been there just over 7 years and transformed our little townhouse lot from weedy grass to an ever growing goddess garden. It's still a much work in progress. I still see parking lot and neighbours but we've done so much in the years, my partner and I. It's not easy to live in a city as you know. Sometimes I get discouraged. I had a run in with a crazy woman two days ago who was out of control while innocently walking my dog. (I will be posting a video about this as well) I was ready to shut down my channel because I felt I was delusional thinking I could make my life in the city, quiet and beautiful like someone living in the country. I can edit videos into works of art but I still work full time in the city and I decided to go more raw, less time consuming and personal, like your channel. There are so many overly edited and curated youtube channels. While beautiful, give people a false perspective, in my opinion. I decided to make my channel my story of transforming city life to a Goddess Spiritual cottage/country lifestyle. It's challenging! I want my own faerie wood but will probably be a faerie corner, my own Danu well but it will probably be a fountain or a tiny pond etc...Anyway, sorry for the long post! Hope you don't mind me mentioning you xo

These are my favourite kind of videos, I love to hear you talking about the land, and each path is like a mini adventure you're letting us explore with you. My husband is of direct Irish decent, and I also have 1/4 Irish blood, we are so drawn to come home. My momma had the ability to "witch" water. She found water on their homesite when she and her husband built their house. I can do it as well. I also have the ability to find unmarked graves. I once helped map out an overgrown cemetery where stones had been destroyed by flood waters.

Now im back I wonder how I could have been away from your garden and your vision for so long! you have been completely transformative you know in my life so thank you ❤❤❤

Te wonderful language and dance of the trees. They form their own covers and arbors and love life, dont they? I love it when 2 have grown together and are not hindered by the faux pas of showing affection as some humans. I have 2 such trees to sit with. The roots of one couple look as if they are the finger ears of 2 hand, intertwined. It creates a perch over a rushing creek, to sit upon. I call that the Embracement tree. The other is still younger, and they look as if they are, French kissing, or perhaps, even doing the deed. I wish at time we could post pics to you here As you place Blessings upon your earth, theDivine Goddess blesses you back

Ooops sent my comment before finishing! …restore a soil. I have a little wood of my own with things secreted in places! I was walking in another wood this morning with my collie And found my first patch on chanterelles and picked just a few for my supper. I enjoy hearing about your gentle life.
