We took a four day ride last June up the Keweenaw Peninsula to Copper Harbor in the U.P. good ride and scenery. Lots of bugs though. We appreciate your humorous commentary.
Very kool trip. I enjoyed the sites and the sounds of the T7 in the back ground. I see you can tap out some miles on the hywy. You crossed some territory on the U.P.. Most of my bike travels are I-90 I-80 and I-70 across the center of the US. Riding alone sucks but you never have to please anyone but yourself. Winters here and it new bike prepping for spring. I’ll have to check out some more travel videos. I was looking at the T7 but opted for a 2019 Africa Twin. Well be safe and keep the rubber side down. Around Bend Oregon out on 2 wheels
Thank you! I really enjoyed it. I always try to avoid the highway, but the T7 will happily do it if necessary. I actually don’t mind riding alone. There’s a sort of meditative quality to it, and of course as you said, no one to please except yourself. Enjoy the AT! They are great bikes and probably a fair sight better than the T7 if you need to knock out some long road days.
Great video, great scenery, great camera work, great narration. I'm contemplating a loop from KY - IL - WI - UP - lower MI - OH - KY. I've crossed the mackinaw bridge once North bound long ago, turned West, once in Winnipeg, I turned South again. I don't remember being able to avoid the steel grate across the mackinaw bridge, I did not like it.
