The Doppelganger Detection Department (D.D.D.) needs you!
There is a vacancy for the doorman position in your building and since you need the money and can't find a job you have no choice.
It's 1955 and for unknow reasons doppelganers are more common than normal, so the D.D.D. has taken action on the matter.
Your job will be to allow or deny the entry of the subjects who request entry to the building, it seems easy, but be careful, you can't overlook any detail because you could be food for doppelgangers.

I wonder if there's any unique dialogue for tricking a doppelganger (ie. Checking off 'yes' for all the boxes on the checklist before calling the DDD on them.) I don't think there's any dialogue for that in current patch, but I imagine that'd at least be a funny scenario on paper.

That would suck lol but I have 2 theories/headcannons 1. In a universe like this, where you know that depending on what you answer they will be killing or letting in someone whether that is a doppleganger or a loved one, my guess is that everyone would make sure whatever they are saying is 100% true, you know how you leave your house and don't know if you've locked the door even if you 100% did? My guess is something of the sort would happen here, maybe you didn't see the person you live with leave, but you haven't seen or heard them in a while, so better check and make sure before answering if they are there or not 2. Likewise, since you know one of the ways of making sure you're not a dopple is for the guard to call to check if you're there or not, you would probably make sure to let the people you live with know when you're leaving, you would never sneak out, maybe leave and tell a lie, but definitely let the person you're living with that you're leaving I know your comment is a joke, but I guess I wanted to write and be annoying ✨️ sorry lol

Can't wait for a gamemode that allows dopplegangers to enter ( but only if they are on the list ) and I'll finally not lose after letting long hair Arnold get inside. Edit: for those curious, the goal would be to differntiate 2 dopplegangers, for example they live on 3rd floor, their folder says the only false info about them is claiming to live on 5th floor.
