Tadbulb was my first gen 9 shiny, found in outbreak with no sandwich. I was super excited to use shiny bellibolt during main story

I remember getting a shiny Bellibolt on the day after the game came out, and proceeded to use it as my only Pokemon for the rest of the game 😂

Something that I found out when doing the date skip method to change outbreaks is that you don’t actually have to change the date. Just go to the date in settings and just click “ok” for the current date and time and it will reset the outbreaks and raid dens when you reenter the game. Just make sure to have you map open when you do it.

Alright you convinced me that this thing is cuter than I first gave it credit for. Once I saw the actual eyes it freaked me out haha but to be fair it shouldn't because one of my favorite pokemon is Elgyem I love the little alien fella cause the name in Japanese is Ligray and is a cerebral pokemon, I just find it adorable and it communicates with little rgb lights that's so cute! ☺

On Day 1, I was playing and exploring the world, I had remained as unknowledged as possible, I saw tadbulb on the bridge and I was like whats this, I ran into it and it was shiny and I pooped my pants, I beat the game with her 💛

Bellibolt is my favorite GEN9 Pokemon, love the shiny too. I did Tadbulb outbreaks for mine, though, and that was agony. Tadbulb shiny is so hard to see.

You can do the "date skip" trick, by going into editing the time, but just going to the right and hitting confirm without actually changing anything. Keep the game open and just go back into it, and you should have the "outbreaks have changed" message. Works everytime for me.

I also hopped on SV after the pokemon presents, mainly just to get my mystery gift mew, than i saw i had a dratini outbreak, so i tried to get that, but i got 3 shiny noibat, and 1 shiny dratini, technically 2 noibat and 2 dratini cause a friend traded a dratini to me for one of the noibat, twas a good time lol

5:36 in scarlet, the 38 shinies I caught, 2 of them were Golduck and 3 were psyduck. no sparkling sandwich for them. psyduck 1 spawned when I was shiny hunting azurill on an azurill outbreak psyduck 2 spawned when I was on encounter level 1/2 water sandwich shiny hunting a wooper. ( I evolved this one in golduck) Golduck 1 spawned when looking for shiny dratini on encounter level 2 dragon (caught on top of a mountain where golduck and dratini spawns in north province area 2) Golduck 2 is same as Golduck 1 the same day maybe an hour later max. (also caught on top of a mountain where golduck and dratini spawns in north province area 2) psyduck 3 spawned when hunting for shiny drowzee on encouter level 1/2 psychic So the Psyduck line for me was like Marill was for you. the one spawning shiny a lot of the time

I've had a few of your vids come up and really like the vibes. People talk about odds but never mention rate of roll. I relearned probability limits just to show the exact %... like for instance at 1/512 if you do 512 rolls you have about 63 chance is all....2 out of 3 times..... are you visually inspecting that many in 30? I started clipping myself with the switch and counting just curious..... average running around 25-30 a min = 700-900 in 30 mins... let me explain how grave not doing the 60 is. 73% vs 83% at that number. When you change to figure how many you need to see for 99% chance you are talking 2300 rolls at 1/512 for 99% vs 3100 rolls at 1/683 for 99%.... as for counting to 60 you only need to kill til 3rd message cause they are at 25, 50, 75% intervals and I personally never counted an outbreak with less than 80... which is guaranteed 60 at message 3. Anyways this is my first game since og ruby and I love math so figured I'd shed some thought. Also 1800 hours and 394/394 violet shinies. My record is 5 shinies in 5 and my best spot i could spawn like 75 a min on a geo boundary. I uploaded some basic 30s ones if you're curious

PSA For the day switching just turn off the clock synchronize and head to date and time and just select ok you dont need to change your time at all i did this for a dondozo outbreak and to farm the 6 star raids This is perfect for the people who dont really like time skipping or just in general
