My first ever shiny was HootHoot in Soul Silver. 2am catch 😂. But my first ever shiny Hatch was my Trapinch in my Sapphire. I still have both till this day. Seeing this video brought me so much nostalgia so thank you Mija.

Seeing this makes me want to hunt in Kitakami! I've been focussing mainly on the Terrarium but you make me want a shiny Mightyena. I had a little Poochyena figurine that I took to school with me as a good luck charm for exams when I was a teen, so I will probably shiny hunt for one now :D

Hoenn is my 2nd favorite region. I remember travelling from Denmark to norway by boat way back when it came out. I mustve been 7 or so and I just had a blast playing it. The pokemon were cool and strong, the music was great. And i just ran around the region for hours! Not because i wanted, but i didnt speak english yet and had no idea what to do haha

@@partyarlie I did that too hahaha. Must have had over 100 hours in that game before I managed to defeat the champion. Shame I cant look it up… my Game Boy along with my copy of Pokemon Emerald got stolen at some point :’) it was a Legend of Zelda edition too. I’ll never forget it, Full gold GameBoy with the triforce on it. I still think about it sometimes haha

Thank you for shiny hunting my favorite pokemon ever :) little man looks so nice in this game (I have 3 Sandshrews) and I got a random slasher (my favorite) wild and I transferred my shiny slasher from sword and he has all the ribbons for violet :)

I also started with Gen 3, having played Ruby, XD, and Fire Red as a kid. And honestly, I never realised thought about Kitakami shared so many RSE encounters! I thought it was just because it's in Sinjoh and then they started throwing in random mons.

I have a great love for shiny Feebas, 1 because purple is my favourite colour and there isn’t many purple shiny Pokémon, and 2 because I found a shiny full odds Feebas in Pearl (Gen 4, not Gen 8) while trying to fish for some regular Feebas for a play through I was doing at the time. His name is Mr Lean, and he’s somewhere in my Black 2 file

I accidentally got 2 shiny lotad! Right after I got the first one I was checking the map for another grass type to finish using the sandwich, and a second shiny waddled on screen!
