Not going to lie; the Ultra Beast Narietale reminds me of Manny the Headless Man-Horse from the Duck Tales Reboot... and I mean that in a GOOD way! I really like this collection of new Pokémon, Teefus and Trismoid are 100% on my team once i get a chance to catch them! Can’t wait to see how UB-Prism aka Trismoid evolves. And whether you intended it or not, my headcanon is that Narietale’s actual body is the shroud-like garment, with those buttons being eyes. The Pumpkin head and hooves it found are mearly it’s misguided way of trying to look more non-threatening (since it is a part fairy type) Excellent design! Playing into that, a Beast Merge Narietale would take the form of a human wearing the Shroud-like jacket but now in a vivid green colour, as it becomes a Grass/Fairy inspired by the Green Man, Leshy and other Spirits of the Wilderness. Taking a pumpkin for a head already shows it has a connection to plant life, but this time it takes a man and wraps them in thick leaves and vines until they look like they dressed for Fairy Court. If the regular form is Halloween and Autumn, then this form is Spring.

Beast Merge Idea: When merging, snooton and its trainer take on a medusa like form and become a dual ground/rock type refrencing medusa's ability to turn people to stone.

I absolutely love UB - Headless! What an awesome design for that particular concept! I love the scary skull face worked into the reigns/coat especially. Very cool!

"I was still in the swamp, trying to track down Suzie and Team Cipher. Along the way, I met and captured a Snooton named Bindi. She is now right beside me as I continue my search. After a few minutes, we saw another silhouette. But this one was smaller than Bindi. In fact, as I got closer, I started to recognize the figure. "Is that... Looker?!" I sprinted over to greet the fine man. It had been years since we last met! I helped him and his partner Anabel deal with Ultra Beasts back in Alola! I reminisced in all of this as we reconnected. However, time is of the essence! I quickly explained what was going on and he immediately understood! So we took off to further our investigation! Y'know, it's nice to have another set of eyes around. Looker wasn't the only one on patrol either! Bindi and Cosmo were not only on my side, but the chief brought out some Pokemon of his own. An adorable little fella with rat teeth. A prism shaped star that's Ultra Beast adjacent. And the evolved form of Kittikact. This last mon was easily distracted by everything it saw though... So Cosmo had to make sure it stayed with us. While on our trip, Looker and I talked more about our experiences in Hoh'ax. It was certainly...weird. But I did get a hint as to what we would deal with next. "A living passage that is attracted to bright lights... Hmm..." Based on what we discussed, I asked Looker's Trismoid to light up the swamp. The little one wasn't as familiar with me as Chief Looker was, but he gave them the okay to do so. Within a second, Trismoid's prism shaped head lit up! And I told Cosmo to transform and do the same! The marshland looked about 50% brighter than it did before. Still, this was enough to grab the attention of a large creature. It was equine in shape, and had a pumpkin for a face. Er... what appeared to be it's face. Turns out this was a projectile that could shoot ghostly fog! It wasted no time using it to conceal itself while letting out bursts of Ghost and Fairy attacks. "Looks like those cheeky grunts released another Ultra Beast. Chief, we've got work to do!" We had our mons team up in order to take this beast down. Bindi and Borbkact moved hastily, which lead to them being the most injured. I wanted to sub her out for Kipsy, since he'd be right for this battle. But she actually elected to stay and fight! I think she wanted to prove she can overcome the spooky beast. I glanced over to Looker and he gave me a knowing smile. With this in mind, I told her my plan. "Don't be too reckless. That's what it wants! Instead, wait for an opportunity to strike!" As Bindi got a clue, another blast of fog hit. She then got the idea to dig underground, like when we first met! While the rest of us fought above ground, she waited for the beast downstairs! The rat like critter Teefus got the same idea and joined her underground, using it's feet to sense vibrations from above. Once it got a strong enough feeling, they both lunged out of the ground and rammed into the Ultra Beast! This rendered it unconscious after a few minutes of fighting! I ran over and hugged Bindi, while Teefus returned to Looker with equal excitement. Unfortunately, we were still lost in the swamp with no sign of Suzie or Team Cipher... So all we got was experience and nothing more. A bit of a ripoff, if not for the fact the swamp could've been destroyed. "Guess there isn't much else we can do here now. Ugh... I wished we had more to work with!" Suddenly, after moments of complaining, I get a call from Maple. She said that she found another component for the Professor's device! Apparently that one girl from the fair has it. Atlantica, I believe her name was? She then asked me if I had any luck on my mind, which was a solid no. "I may have to put that case on hold for now." I told her. She understood and marked the location of the next component. I wave goodbye to Looker and thanked him for helping before taking off. It felt disheartening to me that I couldn't catch Cipher today. For all I know, they could horrible things to Suzie! Unspeakable things! But... There wasn't much I could do after fighting that Ultra Beast. "They got me off their scent... Ugh... I can't give up though! Somehow, someway, I will stop Team Cipher! If not now, then another day..." Loving the fact that there will be 2 pseudo legendaries in this region and that one is an ultra beast line. Trismoid looks adorable and Narietale looks sick.

I love psuedo legendaries and so cool we get a UB and a natural one! Prismoid is the UB version I assume from all the Necrozma references. Makes me giddy to see the Hoax natural version!

its a good thing that Bulbasaur isn't found in the hoax region because remember the anime when ashes herracross always tried to suck up his Bulbasaur nectar?

I knew it was Looker upon seeing the thumbnail and having watched the entire video to confirm it wasn't a relative who looked like him instead, he kind of looks younger in this version and nicer too (not that I mind). He's a favorite back in the manga of Pokemon in the Black and White 2 stories when he is assigned to be Blake's partner and not his superior (he fumes through the nostrils at seeing Blake's status at being higher than him and I laugh about that part a lot). A mole rat is something interesting to use in Pokemon even if this one will become something weasel-like upon evolving. Trismoid is a cute little guy, and I can only imagine it turning into something powerful later on with hands and legs of course. I don't think Borbkact is one that I can tolerate having on my team as the appearance is unappealing, I just hope Kittikact gets another evolution that will be considered good and useful; more along the lines of a quardupedal feline with a long tail lined with spikes and a face that says "don't touch me" as it glares at you with its piercing red eyes. I have watched the first 19 episodes of Gravity Falls so far as the show is being slowly uploaded on RU-vid, but I find the show to still be enjoyable after so long of not seeing it for a long time.

I’m glad Looker is here in this series hope to see him more in our travels and Teefus is an awesome Kim possible reference, also Borbkact’s shiny reminds me a bit of husk minus the wings and snarky attitude, though it reminds me of Ash’s Heracross, and it’s running gag with bulbasaur in the anime and Narietale is an awesome design hope to catch it and use it as a steed later on. So Atlantica has a device peice figures while it puts a damper on our hunt for Susan and Team Cipher we honestly weren’t making any headway anyways despite taking care of the latest ultra beast they unleashed heck we really need to pick up the beast merge necklace so it’d be better to cut our losses and look on the bright side hopefully Looker is able to gain more information in our sted.

Narietale is awesome! Also this is something I’ve been meaning to ask, but since Maple is *definitely* that one trainer in the anime who nicknames their Pokémon, what’s her Squorrow’s name? Wades or is it still Waddles?

I have a few questions. 1. Dose narietale have three legs or does he have a fourth one that isn’t shown in the picture? 2. Are those four little yellow dots its eyes? 3. Does the gourd have a mind of its own or is it just a vegetable? 4. ( Not so much a question but more of a suggestion) when the main character goes to Atlantica’s mansion in the next episode, maybe an ultra beast should break into the mansion and try to steal the part. And if you do decide to do that, you could base it off one of the monsters in the GF series. Maybe that ghost lumberjack that actually attacked the mansion in that one episode, or maybe make it out of the island monster from one of the shorts. It’s all up to your imagination.

I have another beast merge form, but this time it’s for borbkact: Borbkact’s head becomes an umbrella shade with it’s tongue becoming the handle of the umbrella, it’s cactus like body then becomes a dress for the trainer it’s merging with, it would look kinda like a widow [someone who lost a husband] it’s typing would go from grass/rock to grass/dark type

Teefus is a definite possibility for my team, as I need one Ground type, and I like its design, though mostly because of memories of the mole rat from Kim Possible. Trismoid is also a definite possibility, as I need one Fairy type, and I like its design, it's both beautiful and awesome looking. Borbkact is also a definite possibility, as while I don't normally use Rock types, Grass/Rock is a useful type combination, and its design looks interesting as well. Finally, Narietale is also a definite possibility, as Ghost/Fairy is a useful type combination, and its design looks cool. So, this video is full of team possibilities for me.

Funny fact: the headless horseman could come from the Irish folklore of a dullahan! (A headless horseman who if stops/gets off their horse means certain death)

I have an idea for a beast merge form for narietale: Narietale’s pumpkin would become a carriage like the cinderella one, and the rest of the body is pulling it along with looker being fused with the lower half of the body, creating a centaur vibe with the design, the tail would become ropes that is being used to pull the pumpkin carriage with smoke coming out of the carriage windows. It would go from ghost/fairy type to ghost/dark type
