I have a standard Persistence (G10 scales). Great value medium sized user. Spyderco really do get the best out of the 18Cr steel. Good blade design and good ergos. Choose the lightweight if you want a bit more traction. Choose a Native 5 if you want better steel. Easy really.
It’s a shame they didn’t put the flat black deep wired carry clips on these. I wish more knife manufacturers would give the knife community what they want instead of cutting costs or what they want which are both often backwards.
I love a wire clip. Many do not. The 4-position works well and offers multiple carry options on a budget model. Adding the wire clip would be a whole new design. Check out the Manix 2 LW or Para 3 LW for similar options with wire clip.
