Here's the dilemma. Both Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Batista were late bloomers at least a couple of years older than Bo and Vladdy. They both bloomed into incedible run producing batters.

I like Edwin Encarnacion. I recall when he was traded to the Yankees in 2019. Judge was injured and they needed a good power bat and man did he produce. He walked the Parrot often that August. Got injured in September and wasn't the same in the postseason. That's a shame because I knew he was solid in the playoffs when healthy.

Turf Schneids and Walker.Manoah to the minors till he can continuously dominate.Move Pearson,Biggio and Voggy.Plan on moving Vlad once he regains trade value.Send Atkins to Asia to find a few good arms and don't let him return.Re-build this team around Bo.

Sure, Atkins can get a one way ticket to Asia.

Will the Jays trade Springer it doesn't make sense for a 20 plus million player not hitting. The Jays could be sellers at the trade deadline if they don't start putting winning streaks together.

Only Rogers media (based on a directive ) would blame Vlad for this disaster 😑. Way to go Shapiro, Blair

Replace coaching staff and management then go from there. Not trade everybody with these clowns running the show
@normthompson923

And replace him with IKF?They should put an effort into resigning him.

Trading Bo/ Vlad would be the equivalent of the top two execs resigning.

Bo really? Leads american league in hits 21 22 and was leading before injured in 23. Has improved drastically at shortstop. Now I realize why stopped watching you 2 clowns a year ago.

Vlad for Josh Naylor. Bo for Willy Adames.

Vlad for Naylor is a brilliant move. I wouldn't want to see that as a Yankees fan but it's intriguing and Cleveland might be fooled into trading Nayor in addition to another player or prospects. I doubt that such a move would take place though. The Jays should be better with that pitching. Reminds me of the Yankees in 2021.

No thanks. That would be terrible for the Jays.

They may have had an appealing Team OAA last season, but you have to look a bit closer to really understand where the club is in term of 'defense where it mattered in 2023.' Varsho and KK and Chapman were the ones that were elite. But Vlad was the worst 1st baseman in baseball, and Espinal wasn't much better at 2nd. Fatty-behind-the-plate may do a great job stealing strikes, but in terms of arm strength and pop-time, poor ole Kirkie was not a good backstop either. Bo, for as much as he has improved at short since coming into the league, he was only marginally above league-average in 2023. So in addition to being a poor hitting squad last season, 4/5ths of the infield was bad, regardless of the generally accepted narrative that pumps the tires of the Jays' glovework. Where does most of the action happen on a baseball field? Of course it's the infield, a place where Varsho and KK couldn't help out.

I believe the upper management, "atkins," is to blame. Its pretty evident he meddles in in-game decisions with his metrics nonsense. Let the manager manage and the players play. Stop trying to re-invent the wheel. Its baseball it should be organic on the field, and the metrics belong in the office.
