It's not on there because they don't wanna celebrate him because he touch the 18 year olds breasts while working for the jays. Thats why they took him off the level of excellence. I think He'll be back one day, because compared to other current hall of famers and still active players, His was more sad and pathetic than evil. But for now you can't celebrate him. I agree it is the most important moment in franchise history.

How is Alomar's HR against the A's not on this list?! That's a disgusting omission, Sportsnet. It's arguably the 2nd most iconic HR (behind Carter's WS HR) or at worst 3rd (Bautista's HR against Texas at #2). Embarassing.

@agolzad
@agolzad Месяц назад
Roberto Alomar's HR against Dennis Eckersley in game 4 of ALCS is the 2nd biggest HR in Blue Jays history. It was because of that hit which Jays won that series and subsequently won its first ever World Series Championship. Mind you, Eckersley was the most feared closer in the Major League those years and he won the Cy Young award that year as well. I urge all you young baseball fans to find the video on YT and watch it. Such an amazing swing by Robbie and such an important HR it was too.

Its a bit surprising to read the comments and see how many people were fans enough to watch this video, yet dont seem to know or recall that Alomar was cancelled once and for all by the Toronto Blue Jays organization. Alomar was my all-time favorite Blue Jay but I can accept and understand the Organization did attempt to stand by him and celebrated him as a legend, but after yet another investigation and controversy, they had to disown him completely. Level of excellence, HOF banner and historical video nostalgia all removed and never to be acknowledged again. The Blue Jays mean it this time: Alomar is banished for life.
