Two Leaders who were good, intelligent men on completely different Poles. King was here to Lead us, to challenge un-equal treatment in health, education, housing, employment, etc. Brother Malcolm was here to teach us, make us reflect, to remember who we were.. We needed both these men; both Christian and Islam because their beliefs were filled with us being and doing better. Miss them both. I go back to my junior year in high school when my big brother gave me the book. Malcolm predicted his death and before I graduated, he was dead. His life had been so fascinating, exciting and filled with truth. Both dead for over 50 years and I still live by some of the things I learned from them.

As an avid follower and researcher of the Honorable brother Malcolm, people did NOT “like Malcolm over Martin” in the 50s/60s That came later during the resurgence of Black Nationalism and Consciousness during the early 90s (esp after the movie Malcolm X was released). I used to feel the same way, but through my studies over the years, I’ve learned that Malcolm was hindered by the NOI in really affecting change on a political scope because the NOI shunned politics (and they were working directly w/ the Feds and gov’t. MLK on the other hand was on front lines and sacrificed his body as well as freedom for his part. Malcolm couldn’t do so because he was basically forbidden to do so by Elijah M. Read the biography of Malcolm X by Manning Marable for a better picture of this.

The reason we all lost motivation after the civil rights movment is because we diluted the same purpose with different ideas of getting resolution in the begaining. By 1969 we droped the movment like a hot potato, the weakening of black power happened, and the most high was lowered to half mass. Black music of the 70's. The afro. The black glove Olympics of 68. If anything, black people became too complacent by being tossed a few crumbs of accomplishments within our culture.

Capitalism has no race. If I, a black man, make and sell the best pencil and no one but black people buy that pencil, I then become rich in America from those black dollars. That's capitalism, the American dream and it's open for anyone to achieve. In the 70's black people's vision of that dream was made more accessible by the civil rights movement.

You don't have to choose one or the other and you shouldn't. Both had messages that had so much crossover and the things they wanted for Black people that are still needed to this day. I believe in what both those ancestors did. Both gave speeches but Martin was in the streets and going to jail in a very racist south fighting for not just civil rights but he pushed hard for Economic and labor rights, Building the Black family, he spoke out strong on American capitalism and imperialism. He was one of the loudest voices against sending people many Black to The Vietnam war. White "liberal" folks basically "freed" the south and then pulled out without any real rules on what that meant so it left Black folks to defend for themselves. People think Martin was always passive but that's just not accurate. I'm an atheist so don't care about the religious teachings of either and don't think the Muslim vs Christianity debate has a place in saying who is "better" than the other. Look into both with a fair lense, just search radical MLK here on RU-vid. Don't go by what the white washed history classes taught us.

I agree with Charleston White's approach because when you have people who believe right is wrong and they have no values or no morals you can't speak to them in a sweet nice way you have to speak to them in a language that they can understand. Now Malcolm X spoke the language of the people the way they were really feeling at that time in the sixties so that's how come I think he was more effective because he represented the anger that a lot of black people were feeling at that time the same way that Charleston White represents the people that are fed up with all of the nonsense and drill music and the negative effects that this rap music we have today is having on the youth and even some of these old heads

@fadethechannel Год назад
This is true. I’ve read every book there is on Malcolm and several on Martin and gained a totally different perspective than most people have on the subject. Malcolm was pretty much handcuffed by the NOI from directly engaging on politics because the NOI did not believe “the black man had any place in the white man’s govt.” So though he did want to do many things, he wasn’t able to. But Martin was directly involved in the fight for political power and sacrificed his life and freedom on many occasions on the front lines. And it was such a genius move, because most people don’t realize that the non-violent movement was to show that even when they were doing nothing and breaking no laws, they were still beaten, bitten by dogs, spit on, etc. And they got out there on the frontlines for tv cameras and newspapers to see, to show the country and the world of how they were treated.

However, I was taken aback by the Christian preacher's constant hostility, abusiveness and need to attack - not only the Muslims he was speaking to but any who disagreed with his point of view - even other Christian preachers! If I were a member of his church, I would either have left or demanded he be removed as he is a very poor representation of the spirit that Jesus (or, any man of God, for that matter) displayed when dealing with others! The only people, in fact, that Jesus attacked, were the people who set themselves up as examples but went against the very word they were supposed to represent and enforced on the people (much like the Christian preacher in this video)!

I think loon, and other people, are wrong when they basically are saying Charleston White's approach is wrong. And that Charleston White's approach needs to be more pc, or friendly. I only use those words for lack for a better word. What people don't understand, as well as loon, is that the black, such as Malcolm x and Martin Luther King, and others leaders, have been doing that for so long. And that friendly, and talking calmly to these brothers and sisters, has not worked for the most part. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. I think the problem that a lot of these people have, as well as loon, is that they see themselves in these individuals who Charleston White is going after. And I can understand that. But the fact of the matter is, those same people who they see as themselves, are destroying the black community. And we, as a people, have to treat them like the terrorists that they are.

Concerning the word “son” as used by Jesus in the New Testament, according to AUTHENTIC SOURCES is translated from the word “ABED” or “PAIS” which do not mean “SON,” but mean “SERVANT” or “SLAVE.” Therefore, the expressions “son of God” or “son of man” should be reread as “SERVANT OF GOD” or “SERVANT OF MAN!” This is consistent with the definition given of this expression in Romans 8:14, which states “FOR AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD.” This would explain not only Jesus being referred to in this manner, but ADAM (who is called “son of God” in Luke 3:38), SOLOMON (I Chronicles 28:6), DAVID (Psalm 2:7 & 89:26-27), Israel (JACOB) (Exodus 4:22) and EPHRAIM (Jeremiah 31:9) as well as the numerous other references to other people who were not prophets (such as Genesis 6: 2,4) being called “the son of God” throughout the Bible as well. Ujima Jame Notice, the first one to call JESUS the SON OF GOD in the New Testament (outside of some mysterious voice beyond a mountain which is ALLEGED to be God in Matthew 3:17, though this contradicts what it says God called him in Matthew 12:18) is THE DEVIL, who consistently tries to trick him into saying that's who he is (though Jesus NEVER does) in Matthew 4:1-11. ● Then in Matthew 8:28-32, he is called that by TWO MEN POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL (Jesus casts the devils into the swine, though, strangely enough, Christians eat swine today like it is all right!). ● The quote from Matthew 16:13-16. in which he is called that by PETER is problematic because Jesus had said about him: "Satan desires to sift (him) like wheat." If we skip to 16:23, we see, Jesus actually called him 'Satan!" ● In Matthew 26:59 TWO FALSE WITNESSES refer to Jesus as the Son of God [though we know that Jesus said: "You do nothing but lie and Satan is the FATHER OF THE LIE]. ● Let's add Luke 4:41 where "DEVILS also came out of many, crying out and saying. THOU ART Christ, THE SON OF GOD. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for They knew that he was Christ. (Who said this Thou art Christ, the son of God?) answer. THE DEVIL! ● Luke 9:20-21 "He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God. And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to TELL NO MAN THAT THING!" ● Finally, we find, someone saying to Jesus in Matthew 27:40: "If thou be the Son of God, COME DOWN FROM THE CROSS". which may explain why he didn't just come down right that second but had to wait until ALLAH "raised him to Himself" or else, it WOULD HAVE APPEARED that he was, in fact, the Son of God." For ALLAH has said that JESUS DID NOT REALLY DIE ON THE CROSS as we have been led to believe. He says in His Final Testament and Revelation to man on the Earth that the Jews boast: "‘We killed the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of ALLAH,’- but THEY KILLED HIM NOT, NOR CRUCIFIED HIM, but THE RESEMBLANCE OF JESUS WAS PUT OVER ANOTHER MAN (and they killed that man). And those who differ therein are full of DOUBT. They have NO (CERTAIN) KNOWLEDGE; they follow nothing but conjecture (GUESSWORK, SPECULATION). For surely, they killed him not BUT ALLAH RAISED HIM UP (with his BODY and SOUL) UNTO HIMSELF (and he is in the Heavens). And ALLAH is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise. - 4:155-158 This proves Paul’s statement in 1 Corinthians 15:17 to be more accurate than even he realized: “IF CHRIST BE NOT RAISED (FROM THE DEAD), THEN YOUR PREACHING and YOUR FAITH IS IN VAIN!”

Im tired of this narrative, its not true. Malcolm, as much as a speaker and organizer of the movement as he was, he should not be compared to Martin Luther King Jr, respectfully. MLK was a major organizer in the south of movements that led to ACTUAL LEGISLATION. The Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1955, which was led by Dr. King at 26 mind you, he had a car! and a college degree and JIM CROW DIDNT END UNTIL 1964. The Selma to Montgomery March of 1965, which was one of the MAJOR events that led the the Voting Rights Act of 1965 in august, which MLK was also apart of. He was arrested and went to jail 29 times and was murdered. Why do they have to be compared as if they wanted different things for our people. Malcolm gave great sermons but Jim Crow did not exist in Harlem NYC, of course he spoke to all black people but MLK did his thing too ijs

The question as to what Biblical evidence is there that JESUS, himself, referred to himself as THE SON OF GOD is especially important because many people base their understanding of who he was on FALSE WITNESSES or on Paul, who never met Jesus while he was on this Earth: • Read Luke 22 and Matthew 26 in the KING JAMES VERSION and you will see that "THE CHIEF PRIESTS AND THE SCRIBES among the same Pharisees and Seducees who tried to PUT WORDS IN HIS MOUTH ('catch him in his talk") in Matthew 22:15, Mark 12:13 and Luke 11:54 and SOUGHT TO KILL HIM "as his word hath no place in them" hired PROFESSIONAL LIARS ('False witnesses") to testify against him:) Matthew 26:59-67 Now THE CHIEF PRIESTS, AND ELDERS, and all the council, SOUGHT FALSE WITNESS against Jesus, to put him to death; But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, And said, THIS FELLOW SAID, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? What is it which these witnesses (have) against thee? But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I ADJURE THEE BY THE LIVING GOD, that thou TELL US WHETHER THOU BE THE CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD. • Jesus saith unto him, THOU HAST SAID: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see THE SON OF MAN sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Then The High Priest Rent (tore) His Clothes, Saying, HE HATH SPOKEN BLASPHEMY; WHAT FURTHER NEED HAVE WE OF WITNESSES? Behold, Now YE HAVE HEARD HIS BLASPHEMY. What think ye? They answered and said, HE IS GUILTY OF DEATH. Then did they SPIT IN HIS FACE, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands. When asked if he is THE SON OF GOD in Matthew 26:63-64, he says: "That’s what YOU have said" (in other words, that came out of your lips, not mine!) and he proceeds to refer to himself as THE SON OF MAN (not the son of GOD)! A similar statement is made in Luke 22:63-70 where he says "YOU say that I am! However, they are so determined to kill him and railroad him, they don't even listen closely to what he says: "And the men that held Jesus MOCKED HIM, AND smote (SMACKED) HIM. And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee? And many other things BLASPHEMOUSLY SPAKE THEY AGAINST HIM. And As Soon As It Was Day, The Elders Of The People And THE CHIEF PRIESTS AND THE SCRIBES Came Together, And Led Him Into Their Council, Saying, Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe: And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go. Hereafter shall the SON OF MAN sit on the right hand of the power of God. Then said they all, ART THOU THEN THE SON OF GOD? And he said unto them, YE SAY THAT I AM. And they said, WHAT FURTHER NEED HAVE WE OF WITNESSES? Foe WE, ourselves HAVE HEARD OF HIS OWN MOUTH!" What did they hear? Jesus NEVER said he was the SON OF GOD but they heard what THEY HEARD WHAT THEY WANTED TO HEAR! And this is what both the Jews and Christian's argument is based on that put Jesus on the cross to be hung!

@@dudeseriously57 Saudi and Iran are countries not a religion. They have Muslims living there. I would like to break down the shiite beliefs etc etc. But they have different sects. It will be too long. Since this is about the Nation. I will give you couple of examples to make it short. Shirk means associating partners with God. Elijah teacher named Fard. Disappeared and wasn't heard of again. 1. Elijah said God came to him in a form of a human. And that human was Fard. He came to him in a form of a human is Shirk. Associating partners with God and sayin He shared his divine attributes with pertners is called shirk. Shirk is the biggest sin you can commit. Also that you are a non believer. Which means you are not a Muslim. With Elijah also saying he was given revelations. Calling himself a prophet. When it's clear that there will be no prophet after Muhammad. May peace and blessings be upon him. You probably already know that Muslims believe in Jesus as a prophet. The 5 major prophets being Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Musa (Moses), Dawud (David), Isa (Jesus) and Muhammad. I hope I was able to answer your question about why nation of Islam do things differently from the Islamic teaching. I would like to answer your question about the shiite stiff. But it's a whole lot of information to write. Take care brother.

@@Rayallwayz thank you for taking the time to answer with such great detail and knowledge. While I don't think The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught perfect Islam, you have to admit God was moving through him to affect the uplifting of Black people that were lost in America. Was he perfect? Of course not. Were some of his teaching and ways proven foul yes, but I think that happens when you are teaching people coming out of generational slavery and Jim Crow. I just get annoyed when people get enlightenment from strict middle eastern Islam and then use that to discount what the NOI stood far and accomplished during a very turbulent time in American history. That's all. I am not a Muslim, but I trying to see things from all sides. Again, I thank you for your sincere and enlightened response.
