Needs more video documentation on how to use this, each function should be demonstrated one at a time, 8 or 12 notes is all you need to demonstrate each function and how they go together. Been using a Boomerang for years and this might be able to replace it if we could figure it out.

Hi, I am trying this looper with the Peavey vypyr vip 3 and the drum sounds really bad. Even after disabling frequency. Is there any workaround with modelling amplifier?
Yes dude, you need to put the looper pedal in the FX loop. And if your modelling amp doesn't have an FX loop you can use (I'm talking FX send and FX input, usually on the back of the amp), you will have to either use pedals to get your amp sounds with the looper at the end and then out to a clean channel on your modelling amp, or you will have to figure out a way to loop the sound back into your amp _properly_ . With your particular amp you would have to use Aux in and head phones output to connect your looper pedal, guitar goes into your amp the regular way. Depending on the amp, sound quality might still suck though. A looper pedal works waaay better on amps that have a build in FX loop.
What are covers that you use to put top of your switches to make switching easier for your foot. That is brilliant, what are they called? And are they available to purchase? I just got the NUX looper and I'm excited about using it but I love those switch covers super cool. Also, nice demo....thanks
They are called "Button Toppers" I did some research the best ones are actually the cheaper plastic ones I bought a bunch on line, Mooer is the company. Such a brilliant idea
if you have access to a hot glue gun and buy bottled water, use the cap from the bottle. Put the hot glue into the cap and then press it onto the switch on the pedal. Works great!
A question about rhythm: is it possible for the rhythm to continue after the loop stops? I like to record a chord progression that I can use later in a song as I play a solo, but when I stop the loop the drums stop as well. It's there a way to set the drums to continue?
Can you achieve that just using the undo/redo function? Or maybe record it to a different phrase slot and access it with the external foot switch? I don't have this pedal, thinking of getting the Drum & Loop Pro version though.
Sounds like you would want to have the same rythm copied on two loops, say 1 and 2. Use 1 to record the chord progression, then switch to 2 when you want the rythm to continue independently.
Rhythm knob is not working correctly. If i slightly turn the knob to the right it starts to drum. But volume is way too high! There is no in between. I reached to NUX and they confirmed there is an issue and they are receiving feedbacks just like mine. Still waiting to be fixed. I have tried older firmwares too. Nothing changed. I hope someone from NUX reads here...
Hi, did you solve the issue? I just got the device and I cant use in the send/return because of this issue. In front of the amp the problem is less severe, but it is not in the configuration I want to use it.

@@yucelyilmaz great, the @cherubtechnology addresses send an automatic reply that the message can't be delivered. Do you use the pedal in front of the amp, or in the effect loops?
i think you need to download free software from Nux to your PC, this is the same type coding as the firmware in the loop core & it is how the loop core can "talk" to your PC.
It does not seem to work with a USB Audio Interface and software like Guitar Rig & Rig Kontrol 3. The NUX Loop manual is quite uninformative and has nothing on troubleshooting.
Hi, I can't get the extension switch pedal to change between the recording phases. Please help! It can only set the tap tempo, but doesn't switch between phases, even when plugged into the A&B jack. When I use the cable that came with the product, the display only shows "PC" when I press the extension pedal buttons. Is there something wrong with my pedal?
Vidicus Dude, mine fails in exactly the same manner. If it is a faulty device then we both have the same fault. I believe it's an education issue, and NU-X needs to take far more responsibility for teaching us how to use this complicated product. It wasn't cheap. I mean, it wasn't expensive either, but regardless, they need to do better. We should contact their complaints line...
@@lueysixty-six7300 hi guys, i had the same problem using the original patch cable that came with the pedal, you need to get a stereo patch cabel and it should work just fine
I have the same problem, anything I try on the switch pedal just shows PC, sometimes it just pauses the loop track but it doesn't work like shown here. I will try changing the cable as said by @Boris
