I have a Beat Buddy and looking for a looper that syncs well. I try to use Quantiloop but keep having different problems so I need a physical looper for it…thanks!
Hi Suke, your "Looping Rig" video is great and you are doing a great job. I want to buy all five of your books and your CDs, but I don't have that much money. I am retired and can only pay in euros with IDEAL. Is it possible to pay in euros via IDEAL in the Netherlands? Are you also coming to perform in Europe?
If you are ok with me asking a question, I have been using a boomerang for a long time and borrowed a beatbuddy to try it out. Worked well but on songs where I wanted to use ONLY the boomerang the beatbuddy would still activate so if I wanted to use just the boomerang I had to unplug the midi cable. Any ideas on a solution? Thanks in advance
Man, that one is a bugger, there really is not a workaround other that unplugging MIDI cable or using sidecar to TAP tempo as you play. Any devices synched has this issue
Thank you, you were gracious enough to send a reply, I hope you don't mind one more question. I see your setup has the Beatbuddy as the master, how do you avoid recording the beat into the Boomerang, creating two drum tracks overlapping and boosting the sound?
Ah I see. I had watched the vid then came back a week later and just looked at a still shot and didn't see that. Was scrambling last night for a gig, ended up using the BB first, still sounded great, just had to kill the BB after looping. Looking forward to trying it this way. Appreciate the guidance!
Goo question, I had to look it up. It depends on the audio qualtiy 48k or 24K stereo or mono. I use 24k and mono since its just guitar. but its about 18 minutes. I've never hit the limit while doing songs. It souds low but remember the Boomerang cannot store audio. Once you unplug its gone.
