My husband screwed the sentro to a board and this makes the machine, is very stable..hope this helps

Thanks for making this video! After watching and doing research, I got one from michaels. I tried about 15 times to start it up, 3 different sized yarns, but it kept dropping on the 3rd to 4th row at a reasonable speed. Sad to say I am definitely one of the 1 star reviews on this 😂

I just ordered one that is meant for a kid its a little penguin. I bought it so I could just do scarfs. I have been watching tutorials on the kids all the way to the addi. I watched a lady that did an addi and all the stuff she did she freaked me out. Watching your video I am now able to breathe. Waiting for my lil penguin knit machine. If it works well enough (I am just going to test it ) I would like to give to my granddaughter.Thank you so much for such a good videp!

I just bought one of these from Michael's. When I took it outta the box, I noticed some oil on the side as well. Not sure if it came from manufacturing. I just got a paper towel and wiped it off.

I have a Sentro knitting machine all 3 of them. I just got both of addi knitting machines my boyfriend got me for me since I Know how to make hats and scarfs sets. I have my own business. I'm also a crochet person I don't know how to crochet hats

It keep dropping stitches, I've been using it since Christmas an it still keep doing the same thing!! Had my daughter to try it thinking it was me but NO SAME THING!!! IM SO OVER IT!!

I've only ever been able to make baby hats on the Loops and Threads machine. And even then the baby hats will fit only up to 9 months old

Are you able to make adult sized hats on the knitting machine? I just got the Sentro which is basically the same as the loops and thread. The hats barely fit my head.

@@blahbl3 the adult hats look too stretched out and are tight enough to give me a headache. they might be okay for somebody with small head size but mine is about medium size

I had a few other knitting machine friends who said if they used loose tension and weight 3 yarns they were able to get adult sized beanies!

I bought the loops and threads knitting machine ad it didn't even come with everything ! It was possibly a return when I did finally open it, I was so upset it had no weights but only 2. No uarn tensioner or anything. It is NOTcatching stitches at all wveryother stitch i gtta keep putting it back on whether im going super slow or not its horrible sadly 😔

Two questions: 1) would this machine accommodate 2 or three strands of yarn? 2) Is it possible to fold the tube onto itself and place it onto the pegs so as to create a beanie hat with a brim? Thanks!! Cathy K

I dont think the machine would work with more than one strand (unless it was double stranded of weight 2 yarn or less) and I believe some fellow makers have had success with making a double brim beanie the way you described but i have not tried it myself!

Does the Addi self chain the first line? Not sure if that's the right term...but you don't have to manually load on the yarn for the first couple of rows?

this machine is horrible they sell it here in aus at lincraft its good for like 2 or 3 things then breaks its the exact same machine just rebranded with lincrafts brand had to go buy another addi i had one already but i wanted 2 so thought id try it and was horrible quality and wasted so much yarn and it was loose tension

I've got the Loops & Threads machine, squeaks horribly, clicks loudly, handle is loose, some kind of grease drops out (I've only used it for almost a week now), drops stitches or makes some stitches too loose.. Disappointing, bought it specifically for the twisted headbands. I use Red Heart Suoer Saver yarn, my favorite brand.

You can make hats on this machine but not for most adult sizes. Child size hats or adult sized headbands

It sucks I got mine on a 30% discount Bc it was returned 53 they sell it to me for online with 20% was 59 off origanal price 74.99 my machine didn’t come with a tension extension I returned it the stitches ran like a panty hose no good

I bought one recently and it was pure garbage. I returned it. It dropped stitches no matter how carefully I watched it. Definite no.

Pretty much a worthless thing. Dropped stitches constantly. Tried multiple yarns, none worked. Tried my very fine handspun wool which did "work" but then it was just an ugly thin lacey item. Returned the machine. Negative one star.
