There will only be one loose ends. They were the right band at the right time with the right music. Not many bands can or will ever be able to say that 🇬🇧👍
Loose Ends were waaay ahead of their time. I played this track to death. The way it was engineered with the sound going from left to right speakers was cool then, and still is.
June 11, 2022 Bruh, I agree, and if you are playing this today in your " Ride" Heads do still turn looking atcha. From the traffic light. Clean engineered , very well and the narrative still works when you are just at a car wash, cookout, or just chillin
Just close ya eyes/LISTEN... THAT BEAT GETS IN U!! The vocals 'just go w/it', don't they!?! THIS is a perfect song/can't tell u how many times I play it!!!🎶🎶🎶
this cut reminds me of a time when i just took off and went to the Bahamas without making any plans. this song was playing when i got to Sandals Royal Bahamian resort poolside. this song made me stay for an extra two weeks...if you wondering was i alone you'd be incorrect...Helen Hill stayed too!
....then I like Helen Hill. She made for a good story! I love the fact that it’s all spontaneous. Did She travel there with you or meet you there after You called Her to ask Her to join you?
This came out when I was 25 years old, it was so different and unique they had their own style, I just celebrated my 60th birthday the other day and this is still so cool. Thank you Loose Ends from across the pond, we who know Good music will always love Steve, Carl and Jane.
With this song and the group period, there's so much going on in the music, so many instruments moving and playing and the vocals do the same. If you want to understand how music ebbs and flows ...... Loose Ends.
Now this is music!!! The definitive rarity of acoustics this song emits, is utterly mind-blowing; with deep lyrics, well fortified with a catchy yet sexy chorus, sung with a tempo that will make any lover stay more than just a little while.
@@kristsheldunn7331 back them you got to feel the full affect and mighty power of this master piece.. This song coupled with the mood of the times, and your age the feelings you feel when thinking about the love of your life.. It's safe to say you missed out bro.. This song is part of who I am.. They'll never find a better love than mine..
I was already rocking the track in lagos ,Nigeria in 1989....this was one of the best played jamz on radio and clubs in lagos way back,,,,,wao!! where were those days???
This song reminds me when my mother moved me and all my siblings to Atlanta Ga, it was Hot! They called it “The Black Meca” 1987. So many good times, I was 16 hrs old
Nick Martinelli (In the UK) And Jimmy Jam &Terry Lewis were going toe to toe bangin' out hits in the 80's with that deep, heavy, rubbery synth bass lines and that drum machine beat pattern. (you'll hear it on the intro to Hanging on a String) They were the pioneers of a sound that RULED that decade and may very well have a renaissance.
@Wafeeq Zarif People have the right to their opinions, just like you!!! And I agree with most of the people who say that today's generation and today's music sucks!!! I'm in full agreement with all of them!!!
That's why I listen to internet radio. I also download free music and create my own playlist because music isn't the same as it was back then. A lot of these cats lying on their songs saying, "I'll give it to you all night long girl." Stop it! This is music.
You got to be crazy when you think any other music can compare to the music of the African diaspora,no way!black music is poetry in Music, harmony and spiritual rhythm from the sister's for the brother's and brothers for the sisters, the Mother Land.I have to say it no wonder they wanted a piece of us! no lol jus serious!
African Defender I don't even want to hear about Africa, I'm not from there, I was born and raised in America, I was engaged to be married to a Nigerian, they have no respect for American women, only want to use them. I honestly believe they hate us. And I will never classify myself as being an African American.
I have a big duffel of cassette tapes from the late 80's that I haven't been able to part with. I don't know what I'm going to do with them, but I just can't throw them away. I'm pretty sure this tape is in there.
