Both of these tutorials were so interesting. I love Tom's painting style. On the second tutorial it was frustrating to not be able to see the photo while he painted, but I still learned a lot. Thank you for having him as your guest.
I'm happy you enjoyed the tutorial! I'm so sorry, I just added a link to the reference photo! drive.google.com/file/d/15FlkJNbJv808lLpOq264SnjxX8S3q8ps/view?usp=sharing
Both were absolutely amazing demonstrations. Tom's work is always so vibrant and saturated that it simply just glows. Using a limited palette has taught me so much in my own journey, and I highly recommend it. Thanks for sharing your time, these were lovely.
great watercolors (both of them, parts I and II). Tom Shepherd is a great colorist. bold, vivid colors. his approach also seems to be "less is more" (compare how the top and bottom--or focal point vs non-focal point--- structures are rendered). Not overworked. I like that he mixes his own greens too!! thanks for demo.
Tom, where in Wales are you, Cardiff end or down towards Tenby, or even Fishguard?. Would love to attend some of your classes. 🏴 Love the way you use your colours. Fellow Welsh person here 😊
