Keep Battlepass. Get rid of the shop. Bring back level-up and weekly Lootboxes. Maybe even make Lootboxes rewards for hitting certain points in the Battlepass or as rewards for Challenges.
They could just remove the loot boxes from the store and "only" use them for grinding or leveling up because the reason why they removed the loot boxes was because of gambling issues, which is why players would buy loot boxes directly from the in-game store.
And that is how we fix overwatch, also reduce the prices for coins and stuff. Also we could get overwatch coins from the boxes so it would be a lot easier to get the things we want.
20 dollars for a skin pack? Absolutely not. Bring back the loots boxes. At least leveling up felt like an accomplishment when you’d open a box and get a legendary skin.
Season pass would be fine, if you look at any other competitor, they all have battle pass system already. The problem is that they decided to lock heroes behind it, but the rewards are honestly pretty reasonable and good even. Comparing it to an Apex battle pass, which gives you two mediocre legendaries most of the times and a few meh epic skins, I would say it's much better than the apex passes
@@jr9973 Ther is no problem with season pass. mb the Hero yes. BUT its still good, Like u can get that Ultra custom skin, and its pretty good. But its only way u can get skins in the game. Like, how i suppous to afford anything else? Widow skin? 20$. POG 10$ and if im playing more than 1 hero it will cost me about 50$++++. and its totaly unfair. Battle pass should stay, Shop too, But we need lootboxes back. if not like 1 per lvl, but mb 1 per 2. SO we can get SOMETHING.
All I want is a BLACK LIST system and get rid of the avoid player system. I tired meeting back up with that SAME PERSON who's throwing games or just plain bad and having them CONTINUOUSLY ruin my comp matches.
So, I completed the "Win five games as Kiriko" and her icon spray (wich is the reward for completing this challenge) isn't available on her spray menu. Is this a bug/someone is having a similar problem?
For some reason, on certain characters, going too far down on your sticker list will just kick you back to the top of the list even though it’s not the end of all the sprays. OW2 is so broken that there is STILL a t-posing soldier is the Halloween menu
People who want loot boxes are like the battered housewife that doesn’t know anything else but abuse. The new monetization is crap and basically non existent but c’mon ppl have better ideas
People really want lootboxes back?! Have you lost your damn minds?! People just forget everything after a couple of years? No one remember how horrible and pay to win lootboxes were? It's Activision Blizzard we're talking about here, if they were to put lootboxes into OW2, they're gonna be just as expensive as the bundles and the battlepass and the droprates for the cool items is probably gonna be microscopic. Not to mention they would probably put new heroes in lootboxes, make them super op in the begining and make the droprate really low to force people to buy tons of lootboxes to get them. Just be happy lootboxes are gone. Never again.
@@skaikru3444 Learn to read before replying please. The pay to win part was obviously about lootboxes in general, and the possibility of them realeasing new heroes in lootboxes, not about the cosmetics only lootboxes seen in many games like OW1. In games like CoD and Battlefront 2 for example, lootboxes were pay to win as you could unlock new guns and characters through them.

@@JoshityJosh true but it's not a casino since you can get it free pretty easily. Lootboxes in CSGO is more casino then what OW has since you can't open them without buying a key but no one talks that Valve should ban them
Fr at least you got items and coins with them. The battle pass crap sucks and the weekly challenges for getting coins is dumb too like 60 a week? And they got skins that are overprised it'll take me months to get the skins.
not gonna happen, governments are slowly cracking down on lootboxes. the Netherlands and Belgium already have banned some games with lootbox systems (including the mobile Diablo)
