you know in the book galadriel's voice is described as deeper than feminine voices usually are, so his impression might be considered even more accurate than the movie
@@steventheo6077 no, I meant it's not the actor's real voice. I know he did it without effects, I just meant that a voice created for a specific character (e.g. smaug, gollum, Hamill's Joker) is usually easier than an actor's real voice.
@@Ringohulk777 very true. That’s why many people find it easier to do impressions of character with very distinct voices, often cartoon characters. Such as stitch, Mickey Mouse, etc...

At first I was all like: "Meh." But then I looked away from the screen and imagined the scenes as I listened, and honestly these impressions were all nearly 100% spot on! Very talented!
I really like that you not only act with your voice but also with facial expressions. Makes the whole thing much better and more interesting. Thats one thing youre wayyy better at than others. I really appreciate how much effort you put in these videos. Thanks for being awesome :)!

i always appreciate how incredible his vocal range is. Most of these were scary perfect, but the gandalf one was missing certain tonality in certain lines, but overall was pretty amazing. Jamie Costa set the bar unimaginably high for Gandalf, Dumbledore, and Robin Williams impressions (also, he looks like a freaking clone of Robin Williams)
Lightwood Films Ok, but for a person who doesn’t know professional sound mixing, how would it be possible to remove EVERY sound. Like walking around, happening right when they talk. Is he a film student? No. It’s just impossible.
Lightwood Films Remember here, he is 1. Not a film student 2. The original movie clip has tons of background noises that attempting to remove would have caused serious distortion 3. Actually listening to the movie clip and comparing his to the movie, you’ll find that the pacing isn’t spot on, when he repeats “Gollum” to himself it sounds noticeably different from the movie, and lastly, the original comment was talking about the similarity with Gollum’s voice, which is pretty famous as being a voice that many people can exactly copy.
Even if the voices aren't always quite matching the original, there is a limit to everyone's voice, and I think you absolutely hit that limit, and even went a little beyond! :D The articulation, the pronunciation, and just the way you imitated the characters was unbelievably good! :D
The orcs, legolas, gimli, and gandalf were AMAZING!! i mean, the beginning with legolas and gimli!! also, very funny when he accidentally said the "a" word, and the "they're taking the hobbits to isengard!"
