After set 10 and the conclusion of Movie block, Decipher "reset" the game. You picked up on several of the main changes in this video. 1. They took the site numbers away so you could play the sites in any order, then they added rules for how to increase the twilight as you play down the path. 2. They changed the shadows factions from the seven factions in the movies (Isengard, Moria, Dunland, Raider, Wraith, Sauron, Gollum) to five (Orcs, Uruk-Hai, Evil men, Wraith, Gollum). The idea that Decipher seemed to be going for was combining all of one "Type" of baddie into a single culture. Adding Dunland to Raider makes sense since there were already three raider subfactions of Easterling, Southron and Corsair in Riader cards and Dunland was only relevant in Two Towers. Uruk-hai however was effectively a copy paste of Isengard which leads me to point 3. About 80% of the new block is copy pasted from their original movie block since the new block necessitated building back all of the stock cards that people were used to seeing.
Really appreciate the info / comment. We may start playing and collecting beyond 10 soon so this helps alot. Do you happen to know how playable the cards we got beyond 10 are?
@@412JD The starter deck cards are usually mid tier cards that work reasonably well together. Obviously the rares you pulled will be more useful in their respective decks. That Anduril was a heck of a pull!
