Rohan (not Ronan) :). The blue bannery thing with the White Tree of Gondor and the crown and stars is the sign of the king and the crest of Gondor. It does appear on a banners in the movies in the coronation scene. I love the idea about what to do with the socks (heat pad)!! I get decorative socks as gifts sometimes and never know what to do with them. It would be interesting to fill them with popcorn, though, as I usually microwave those pads to heat them up, hehe. Wonderful video as usual :).
That actually is a really good point about popcorn 🙈 I had read it somewhere as an option and hadn't thought much of it so noted it. I tend to use rice as my filling since I always have so much in hand. And thanks for clarifying the Gondor pieces 😊
The mug was the only thing worthwhile in the entire trilogy boxes. I received these as a christmas gift in 2019. That’s 19! I got my last box in 2020! My wife ordered it in Nov. 2018. That’s a seriously longtime to get 3 boxes with garbage like ugly socks and ugly tshirts. FYI, it’s a sweatshirt not a sweater. LootCrate dropped the ball on this license. I find it very fitting that this review was done for a LooteCrate that was late.
The image on the fleece blanket is the fiery abyss in Mt. Doom where the ring is destroyed :) And yes, the banner in the last box is the White Tree of Gondor, the symbol of the realm of Gondor. The long blue banner is the Standard of Gondor that Arwen made for Aragorn. In the book the design is on a black field and the symbols (woven with mithrandil thread and embellished with gems and gold) are part of what is called the Livery of Elendil. Arwen sent it to Aragorn to be unfurled at the Battle of Pelennor Fields to claim that the King had returned. I LOVE the Middle Earth scarf - I wants it! :)
... I'm confused, is that comment actually at me? Because I really loved getting these boxes, but it's rare that you 'love' everything, so I had my favourite items and I found uses for most of the other items.
