In his other vids it becomes painfully obvious that Yagluth outmatches the Queen. Personally, this was my experience as well but now we got comparison material and you can clearly see the difference.

I also noticed that during the video, and not while I fought him myself. Then I probably was to busy with not dying.

yeah, charred warrior are really powerfull but predictabe, so once you know the pattern, reto become easy

I died on the first try, because I thought I can block him with my fully upgraded Flametal Tower Shield and 97 block skill. But he staggered me with the first hit.

@@AzulYoshi Did he stagger you too, in the process? Since I lately play with tower shields, I forgotten, how the parry stagger on the parried attacker exactly triggers. Does it happen if you got the timing right, or do you also need enough stagger bar and stamina to not get staggered yourself, to stagger the attacker? Maybe they nefed Retos dmg output, when they decreased the Ashlands difficulty the last two times. But it was originally 364 to 500 dmg, which is far too much to block or even to reliably parry. If you use the three best HP foods, have 100 block skill and use a fully upgraded Flametal Round Shield, and he rolls his minimum possible attack, you might be able to parry, rarely. But still unable to block even with the tower shield. Another influence could be the combat difficulty world modifier. This reduces the dmg dealt by mobs to 75% or 50% for easy or very easy, respectively. So that might also enable you to block or parry attacks, you would not be able to block on the normal setting. I so far only played on normal. One thing I also don't know, is if Reto does suffer a Multi target penalty, when he hits a wall and you at the same time. If so, that would also reduce his dmg by 33%, making it easier to block or parry. With a fully upgraded Flametal Tower Shield, 100 block skill and the three best HP foods, you can block: Max successful dmg block = shield block armor * (1+ Skill/200) + 40%*(25+Food1HP+Food2HP+Food3HP) = 152*1.5 + 40%*325 = 358 dmg So if his attack dmg is not reduced by a multi target penalty or world combat difficulty modifier, you will never be able to block him. With a full upgraded Flametal Round Shield, 100 block skill and the three best HP foods, you can parry: Max successful dmg parry = shield block armor * (1+ Skill/200) * Parry Bonus + 40%*(25+Food1HP+Food2HP+Food3HP) = 126*1.5*1.5 + 40%*325 = 413.5 So occasionally you might parry his weaker attacks, that have (had) a dmg range of 364 to 420 or 498 to 460 pierce dmg. But maybe they also changed that, since I last meddled with the dmg mechanics.

​@@Bibino025 I Think he can drop you down way below 20% health even with bonemass in hard mode with full defence, I wouldn't know cause when we fought him as mage and Melee we Rooted him in place until he was dead, unable to attack and move with the Primal axe and the Primal Root staff.

@@Zenith07 i didn't fight him in hard mod, but with 106 armor and bonemass he can deal about 120 damage, which is a lot, not even the queen dealt that much damage
