Would be cool to see a Vader series on his rise to power. Taking place after ROTS and adjusting to being a proper Sith, separating himself from Anakin Skywalker as he always talks about him as if he's a different person, so it'd be cool to see how one person is one and the same, but also how they're so different. Plus, Hayden Christensen said he's up for doing a Vader series if the right time came!

He's kind of a evil character, you have to make him likeable/relatable and give him a few wins, we can't have people thinking they can understand and sympathize with pure evil intentions. I don't think you could really make a entertaining movie about Vader, he is Livid all the time. he has two speeds, shut down, where he gets gross, and awake, when it's "where are those a Holes" . A manicical all encompassing electrical thirst for revenge, no hanging in bars, no tending his coy fish and garden, no romantic side story, and there will be no joking droids. Vader with a smart ass droid. And it might turn it into a freddy kruger type thing.

😂 I find that an antagonist's tendency to stay out of view helps cultivate a movie's ominous atmosphere and makes the antagonist more imposing when they reveal themselves. An incomplete backstory is also evocative like that of Heath Ledger's Joker, GLaDOS and General Grevious. That being said, the least enticing part of this trailer has to be the corny dialogue.

One scene I wished we got to see....IMO I would think Vader would have visited the funeral of padme. it would have been interesting like they had no love for the empire there but at this occasion I suspect it would have been considered a neutral affair...and interesting had he come and paid his respects. it would have been a little more humanizing of Vader.

Give me a break. We needed to see Anakin psychologically change whether in the clone wars years and years of violence can harden a man. He just doesn't wake up from being a nice guy to evil. This is a cartoon. The story of Anakin turning to Vader to me is possibly THE most important story and caution of The Star Wars Universe. It's hard to do. It's like Michael Corleone in the Godfather. What Denis Vilenuve has done with Dune and the Harkonnens is much of the same. Physical repulsion and menace instead of looking at the real situation where the devil actually appears more attractive than a hero. Vader in the 80s looked menacing now he seems like a caricature compared to some more modern villains

Further, those six episodes only covered parts of his story. There was a Disney limited series named Obi Wan that covered a little more of Vader’s story. Not to mention, the Clone Wars animated series covered some too. Plus, it’s perfectly alright for people to do more stories about Vader. Finally, those six episodes, plus the other media I mentioned didn’t tell Vader’s whole story. Oh, and there are books too. Now, go away and maybe just kick rocks 🪨….

Without question. Darth Vader is the greatest character in the franchise. Not Anakin, not Luke or Han or Leia, not Darth Maul and not even Kylo can match him for evil and action and depth. You just want to follow him around. Hell I want to watch him eat breakfast. Does he crap in a toilet? These are the questions I need answered. Darth is the greatest villain in cinema history. He just is. And they have never really started to pick fruit from the Vader tree. I hope they do this. My dream was they would make a movie just about him and his kicking the ass of the galaxy in the name of the empire. I prefer original material and produced scenes, not taking from that which already exists. Plus, I don't like see the Lucasfilm or Disney names being used to fool people.
