I play bass, drums and keys and have listened to tons of musicians (church, classical, jazz, etc.). What makes this group so good (besides the raw talent displayed by each of them) is the fact that they actually listen to each other. Can't tell you how many musicians I have seen/heard who lack this critical group-playing skill. Keyboard player is actually holding it all together as far as the band being in synch with worship leader/singers - no better display of his great ear and skills than what happens at 7:38 when the worship leader steps back onstage and is a measure off of the band. Keyboard player sees what is up, signals the start of the phrase to the band at 7:46 as a first attempt to synch, but does a gliss down and walk up to the start of the next phrase that everyone catches and synchs to. Back in business and all smiles. Not everyone can do that, believe me. Thanks for using your talents for the Lord.
It's important to express ourselves in worship and there is a difference between, excitement, overplaying, pocket, being tasteful and letting the song breathe...Style has nothing to do with worship so anyone talking about evangelicals and Pentecostal sounds have missed the whole point of worship. Thank you guys for loving God and playing for him. May you ever increase in your love for God and ministry to people. May your hearts remain pure and may your amazing skills grow even more....I will say that at the end of the day, if God is glorified, no one can say a word about a person's expression. You never know who God is using in a moment and for what purpose. Be led by the Spirit Of God....
Got to be one of the tightest and gifted of Bass Player I have ever heard PERIOD!!! In my whole of almost 50 years in lisyening and playing music in either of secular or church worlds....I mean give me a Fat Pentecostal Tambourine Break!!!....This guy has entrance to heaven guaranteed based on his Bass Playing!
This is the truth...isn't it folks? Love it Love it Love it. Such a spirit between the drums and bass as you see them grin to each other. Thanks...gonna go play now.
Thank you sir, I appreciate your comment :) we've been playing for about 5 years as a trio gospel band. We travel and play at 3 church's together every Sunday in our community. God Bless you
+Sergio Acedo Man you all are so good. I'd be happy to stay in touch. Do you have an email for your music work? Feel free to shoot me an email as well. info@drumprofessor.net and once again...God Bless
These guys are awesome. Skillful talent. Blessed!!! The band is blessed for real. Sergio is a bad boy on the drums. Keep rocking steady Sergio for the Lord. I can hear and watch you play all day. This is the best live version. Be Blessed
Yall killed it! A bilingual church playing soul music/funk? Praise God! If I wasn't already busy playing drums and ministering at my church I would come and praise God with yall! Keep it up gentlemen!
To the Praise & Worship Leader, the Praise & Worship Team, and the Band, you all are truly anointed and blessed! Your ministry through music will truly bless many! Rock on zion!
This is honestly one of the most inspiring videos of church musicians. I believe that God wants us to have fun and be creative as we play! It’s worship and it’s beautiful. I absolutely love this and this makes me want to work even harder to become everything I can be as a musician so that when I play I can be creative before the Lord and also be someone that other creative anointed musicians actually wanna jam with!! God bless you guys. Thank you for sharing
Whoaaaa. They went OFFFFF!! So fun to see the joy in letting go. These are the best times when you can let your jam out of the bag and just play without reservation.
Well played but I have to admit your bassist stole the entire show! That guy is on fire for the Messiah! All in all the band was tight, every well gelled together and the keyboardist is just so easy going and mellow he just flowed and made it piece together so well. Awesome job guys!
This is an apostolic worship service for sure. Ohhhh how sweet is the sound of your cymbals crashing brother! This trio sounds like a grand orchestra. HALLELUJAH! (from a fellow Oneness worshiper down under)
I need a "Love" button!!! I love the fact that yall took a popular song and threw yall's own spin on it but kept the integrity of the original! You and your bass player were in perfect sync and that's lost on drummers now days!!!! Well done
Vthis is without doubt the best most blessed gospel set I've ever heard, please get some stuff out to the rest of the world! We all need lifting ATM. A big thank you to your pastor Serg , the fantastic ladies singing and your amazing bassist!.. big up Serg Danny from London
