Check out Sure Sure's version of Naive Medley. It came out years ago and should have been on this album. It's sublime. I'd been telling people for years that I'd probably hate any TH covers but Sure Sure pulled it off. And now, well, I'm trying to love this new album with limited success so far...

@paulltyler I’ve only heard a few so far, and some I think are reasonable and one I couldn’t finish. In a sense, a tribute album should pay homage to an artist or artists by showing that they are loved by their peers but cannot be improved upon. I’d expect that for the TH...I’ll probably give them all a listen, but then I’ll be prompted to dig out my LPs, now that my amp has a phono input again. 😀

The saddest thing is that my family and friends aren't huge fans of Lorde. Them saying they don't care about this new release hurt 😢 But no srsly, this is so incredible for me, i grew up on my parents' 60s and 70s music and from it i fell in love with music from a young age. Now Lorde, hands down my favourite artist, is making music that sounds like the 70s (sure its a cover, but admit it, it suits her voice), I am so so happy!!
