The only time I heard her was back in 2014 when she came to the lollapalooza in my country. She was so freaking good tho, I still remember how shocking it was hearing her live, I was blown away.
she needs to make this a single! I don't care whether it's a hit or it flops, it just deserves to be one:) the guitar in the last part is totally priceless
one of the best songs i have ever heard. i have this on repeat. every song on melodrama is amazing, but this one got me. i wish i knew what 80s song the ending reminds me of. God, i love this.
Adam Hein no trust me. i listened to i wish you would on repeat like crazy. the ending sounds like a certain song. it is on a john hughes film from the 80s.
i remember when some lyrics from this were leaked or dropped "i am my mother's child, i love you till my breathing stops, i love you till you call the cops on me" and some people had called the last line cringey. and i knew that lorde had found a way to make it beautiful and sad or else it wouldn't be on her record. i was so right.
Brianna Schmidt soz i actually know that now. that was like a week or so after it came out so it was just so new and fresh in my head. rest assured i know the songs and lyrics now.
the girl that keeps giggling like WHAT THE HELL IS FUNNY. SHUT IT. but god, ella's vocals have gotten so much better and she's so beautiful. i cannot wait to see her. 💗
I saw her perform 4 days ago and the way she performs pulls you in even more than before. I’m seriously obsessed with her I can’t stop watching videos over and over again. She has so much emotion and such a good heart and talks to us in between songs
i have never felt like this before. I put this video on my tv, turn off the lights and started singing with her. I felt like I was there. I started crying. It was beautiful. Best experience ever
This fucking woman!!! I'm loving Melodrama more than Pure Heroine and she is just so passionate and talented. And this song, ooooh my goooooood. Just look at how she lives the moment. A goal, a fucking goal!!!
If you haven't seen her do writer in the dark at the end only vocals no instruments you HAVE to see it. It's the best thing iv'e ever heard. twitter.com/LordeNews/status/875902340737454082
Brett Werner oops I meant she had a mic for "The Louvre" and no mic for "Writer in the Dark" but yeah you're totally right about it sounding better with no echo.
