It's surprising to see how this music group's still active, but when you really think about the context of it's cult following, it's not the same as it used to be.
She was also in the band 30 years ago and the singers have always leaned young, sexy & naughty. Ruth was lovely back in her prime - but I'm not sure she could put on the same show with the same voice today, nor would people want to come out to see Grandmas of Acid. That said - the latest singer... meh. The one prior to her (Marieke Bresseleers) did well but seeing some live LoA from 2019 I sensed there wasn't great chemistry between her and Praga. Mea had good stage presence but her vocal range was a bit lacking (needed a backup singer to carry the higher notes). Deb - alright. Nikki - pretty much tied for first place with Ruth.
The one at the very beginning's called "Acid On Your Face". Considering this is the kind of music you'd hear at a strip club, the refrain could actually be heard as "I'll Sit On Your Face".
