@@rzhecheah4114 You could say it's been "A Century" since we last heard that game. But seriously tho a modern Another Century with all the newest updates to their previously existing mechs would be nice....
Destiny Spec II is not the first Destiny we saw. It has some of the same particles Mighty Strike Freedom used. Coupled with Shinn's familiarity with Destiny, he was able to combine the upgraded Mirage Colloid + Voiture Lumiere + the new particles. Creating the mirages he used to take down the Black Knights. By the enemies' own mind-reading admission, Shinn wasn't thinking about tactics at all while doing it. It was pure fighting reflexes. The movie had ups & downs, but the final battle definitely has a lot more ups.
@@fujiwatertofumi5363 There was that Psp game that had... a whole variety of mechas, had Code Geass, Destiny Gundam, 00 Raiser (the only ones I used), it was pretty much full scaled and not chibi'd mechs, it wasn't translasted but it was kinda close to how the video shows it, Super Super boost had to charge before it shot you off into the distance is what i remember, had a variety of weapons per mech too
Agree, I don't think there's any gameplay able to present with lv8+ Caliburn Gundam, Moon butterfly ∀ Gundam, Unicorn Gundam, Might Strike Freedom Gundam around.
"I was just minding my own business, and then I got sucked into a 'multiverse' with this quiet kid with a mace and a timid girl obsessed with her MS. I was supposed to go back to my home afterwards, but instead I ended up here..." "You are not Raven." "Uh... Yeah? Kinda the point I was getting at?"
@@rikoaries I'm now imagining Setsuna being absolutely *DONE* with Snail and all of Arquebus' shenanigans and simply disassembling the guy methodically.
^ this, the mod heavily upped the speed. And those movesets from the custom weapons does not help either lol it's so broken you can literally just beat everyone there to death with the damn sword
@@GuiltlessGearNah bro if the writers of gundam seed destiny were good, the Destiny gundam would have a great chance of winning against athrun. Better yet, if that whore named Lunamaria Hawke stayed out of the way, Athrun would be ded.
I think you need a better targeting unit and should use lock on more, missed a lot of shots for a Gundam lol this is amazing though, thank you for keeping the community alive!!
what I hate about his is that in the Anime the MS are always airborne and gliding in space where as in games they can't last more that 5 seconds flying.
that's because most of the games you are thinking are more grounded. even the extreme vs, which is basically this but tunned to 11, uses ground to reset boost for balance. but there's the Another Century's Episode, which is all flying. gameplay is far more dinasty warriors though, i would even say its even more dinasty warriors than even dinasty warriors games themselves.
Gundam Seed Destiny: Rengou vs. Z.A.F.T. II can be a lot more like this compared to Evolution. Doubly so if you tweak the settings to give yourself infinite awakening gauge and boost gauge, and set your awakened mode to speed and pop it asap; The speed at which combat takes place is nuts. Very fun game, would recommend.
You can't say if it's better or worse gameplay, it's just different. One lets you fly more and feels more dynamic but due to the speed, requires AI to help with lock-on issues, the other slows things down to easier movements but gives you more directional control so you can decide what you want to target first and where to dodge towards with more precision.
@@fadhilmuhammadrifqi1134 Yeah. At least the menus are more or less easy enough to make your way through once you've spent some time with them, but that doesn't do anything for PLUS mode and its unique story content. Even a cheap translation done with Google TL or DeepL and some very bare-bones polish would be nice at this point lol
He wasn't Lying alright, looking at the Potential in Seed Freedom. Tho, normal Destiny still didn't have the Improved Mirage Colloid and Voiture Lumiere which made a MAJOR Impact on Destiny Spec 2 Performance
well, gundam breaker 3 kinda looks like this, of course, its a ps3 and ps vita game, so graphics are much lesser in quality, but visually it feels in the same vein. cant really talk about gundam breakr 4, as its still not out, even though there are some gameplay videos. it doesnt look as good, but doesnt look bad either.
you mean like gundam extreme vs? you know, the fighting game that is basically this? or do you mean gundam breaker 4, which is closer to gundam breaker 3, which is closer to armored core 1 and 2. being more grounded?
@@marcosdheleno never played a Gundam game aside for the gatcha style one for mobile that got shit down recently. I am really looking forward to trying to new one coming out soon though the way you get parts sounds cool
@@wolfbrother9025 you could look up on youtube, gundam breaker(that is 1, 2 and 3 but NOT "new gundam breaker") are kinda like a mix of armored core, with gunpla and a bit of diablo. you defeat enemy grunts, and they sometimes drop parts, like arms, legs, head, weapons, backpacks and so on, and you can customize them. the gameplay is closer to armored core 1 and 2, being slower, and more grounded. as for extreme vs, they are basically the best anime arena games hands down. multiple gundams and other mobile suits from almost every series. you cant really customize them, but their kits are very complete. its kinda like this, but faster and more balanced. its also a 2v2. in a very interesting way, each team has its own cost bar, and each unit has its own hp. when a unit is destroyed, its cost is deduced from the team bar. if the bar gets to 0 or below the team loses. so you can aprouch in diferent ways, either go hard on very powerfull very costly suits, but at the risk of losing if you die a couple times, or go full grunt, and have a ton of "lives" basically, or as most players do, make a combination of a powerful suit with a very cheap one. game doesnt have a campaign itself but it has a very robust arcade mode, that include challenges like fighting ships like the archangel or minerva, or some massive mobile armor. if you want to give it a try, you can go for probably the second best vs game in the franchise, gundam seed destiny: zaft vs rengou 2+ on the ps2. besides the arcade mode, the game has an AMAZING single player kinda story ish mode, where you get to play basically the story of seed destiny, but in mini missions, based on other characters, from enemy sides, you go against them, and friendly you help them. and as you do, you gain levels that unlock new suits to be used(shin start with some grunts and the impulse), for both shin and the side character, and after maxing, you are able to even play as them. the objective of that mode is to basically befriend everyone, and that includes both kira and cagali, as well as the special trio. game has an insane amount of suits to pick from, including the destroy gundam and even some of the fighter ships like the moebius zero or those transformable tanks from zaft. also it has both the strike noir and the stargazer(but unfortunately those are the only 2 suits from stargazer). give it a try, you can basically run the ps2 emu pretty easily. and you will get an idea of how amazing the franchise is. if you cant play ps2 emulators, you can try the gundam vs gundam for psp, which is in many ways better because has suits from various series, but also not as good because the gameplay changes fro ZvR2 werent all good. and the "campaign" isnt as interesting either.
I just got armored core 6 on PS5 I know mods can't be used, but can someone tell me how much of this is mods? Like are the animations for attacks/dodges/movement mods or is it just the model and weapon skins?
these mods convince me that its possible to have a good gundam game, if only Bandai would just hire fromsoft one more time and they make an armored core like gundam game.
what do you mean convinced? gundam extreme vs exists. and outside of new gundam breaker, the franchise is very much a more grounded armored core. closer to 1 or 2. i mean, extreme vs is literaly the game that is holding japanese arcades alive to this day.
