What a pleasure it has been to make this video! and what a sprint it has been to get it out before the end of the year. Hopefully you’ll get to enjoy this episode it during your well-deserved holidays. Special thanks to the Great Skrubasauras for delivering yet another wonderful narration for this one! Speaking about the fight between the Red Angel and the Prophet of the Waaagh! This is a tough one, the two of them are true monsters of destruction, but in my view, Angron might edge out a victory in a one-on-one fight. However, when it comes to an all-out war with their full armies, the scales could tip in favor of Ghazghkull and the greenskin horde. Again, this is my own personal opinion and I could be completely wrong, but it is still fun to speculate on these matters. Another factor is that now that it has been stablished that Angron can return to realspace even when he is banished to the warp after just eight weeks, eight days and eight hours, I would say that he is more “killable” now. It’s easier for writers to kill Angron as he would then be returned, with no real consequences, doing away with the risk of eliminating a major character from the setting of Warhammer 40K. Of course this is looking at it from a perspective outside of the universe but I think it still counts. Personally, I would love to see Angron killing off a main character for once, destroying an important world or so… In any case, what do you think? Who would emerge victorious on this clash and why? Would love to see your comments, theories and such. Makes you wonder if Khorne's flex to break the replacement astronomicon ends up having... unexpected consequences. Imagine how much Tuska has been grinding.
I am gonna be real for more then 2 seconds here, if he did that. I will straight up revive Yarrick, the only thing I can see that takes him out is turning to dust from age.
Yeah, I'm sure he's shaking in his boots. The super being that became an even more super being that will come back to life, if destroyed. The man that was utterly destroyed in Arcs of Omen by an energy beam, and immediately reformed. That's before he destroyed a planet. Orks like war? Good. Let's see what happens when they get infected with the Murder Curse. Let's see what Ghazghkull does when his WAAAGH! goes into a berserker rage like never before, and turns not only on each other, but on him. Oh, and they'd be getting really powerful, in the process.
@@RobouteGuilliman-M41 so from what you said, the only thing that could give him a final death is The Emperors sword which is in the current possession of one Robute Guilliman.
I think killing Angron would level up Ghaz so damn hard. It would be interesting that the primarchs are coming back just in time for war of the beast 2.0 ghaz murks your family edition.
I kinda hope that someone would tell the orks about the concept of saints in the imperium so they'll will Yarrick back to life as the saint of propa good foights
the orcs would go to war against Angron over Yarrick because orcs have not only a sense of respect for their enemies who have given them a good proper fight at least once but also a sense of honor. For example, in one famous case a space marine from the Space Wolves chapter along with some of his brothers in arms managed to defend a narrow passage against the orcs long enough to cover the retreat of the rest of Space Wolve company, afterward the Space Wolves came back to proper buried their fallen brothers only to shockingly discover the orcs have placed the fallen space marines in a hastily constructed shrine with their armor still on. thus logically it won't make sense, for the orcs to not let Yarrick die without giving him respect and honor and since Agron supposedly killed him, it would make sense for the orcs to honor and respect Yarrick one last time by making the biggest waagh in his honor against Angron.
Best way to beat Angron is to tell Ghazghkull that the Daemon Primarch of Khorne was the reason behind Yarrick's demise and the Ork Warboss will go John Wick on him.
What if know hear me out, what if Yarrick is playing dead so that the World Eaters and Orks weaken themselves so much from fighting each other that he can emerge and lead the imperial forces to claim victory over Armageddon?
Ghahzgull: "Youz killed old bale eye, youz shouldla not done dat. Waaaaagh" Angron, stabbing Ghazghull: "I don't remember the names of the ants I crush!" Ghazhghull smiles, getting bigger, bigger, massive and grabs the blade as Angron struggles and fails to pull it back out. Turning to the infrerior creature before him Ghazghull, in perfect high gothic says. "If so, then I shall return the favor, good bye puny winged ant." Ghazkhull, the first krork in millions of years, grabs the head of Angron, crushing his skull with overwhelming physical and wagh psychic might. For a moment, for that single spit second the attention of Gork amd Mork averted from each other, for that moment they agreed, for that moment they had one goal: to kill Angron, to crush the puny ant before their ascended prophet. In that moment it was more than just Ghazghull's hand crushing Angron. In that moment Angron finally found peace. As the battle ended, Ghazghull made an effigy of Yarrick, his best enemy, his rival to whom he owed the drive to be better and without another word he left, to fight the greatest waaaagh. The galaxy, his galaxy, had a bug infestation to take care of.
If Ghaz punches on with Angron solely because he killed Yarrick that will be both one of the funniest and the most wholesome moment in all of 40k and I'm ready for that in my heart. Also no one can really lose, Angron can just respawn and Gaz can just be given the body of a kroak to make him even bigger and badder than he was before
ghaz would probably be smart enough to realise after like the 3rd angron kill that he has to figure out how that red bastard keeps coming back and then proceed to summon gork and mork to take Khorne down
You remember how malakith got grimgore iron hide to fight the ever chosen? "Hey grimgore, this guy says he is better than you" "dis gits gonna die when I kill em"
As strong as Ghaz is he's not gonna be able to take down a Demon Primarch but he is smarter than Angron and most of the world eaters as to Divert Angron to kill area then deliver the finishing blow. Remember he is Brutal and Cunning
Main thing to remember about daemons fighting orkz, daemons lose some of their warp given might when around green skins. So Angron would lose a decent chunk of his power while Ghaz would gain power. ESPECIALLY as a WAAAGH! would be involved.
God this Channel has amazing narrative skills and the editing in the background with the pictures always changing as the narration continues truly a superb job well done
It is important to note that Ghazghkull most certainly meant to die at Ragnars hands in "Ghazghkull Thraka Prophet of the WAAAGH". Ghazghkull definitely went easy on Ragnar, and allowed him the "victory". He says so himself. Ghazghkull Thraka Prophet of the WAAAGH - chapter 11 - page 199 and 200 right after ragnar choped off Ghazghkulls head. "So this is death is it? I've had worse. I need not die. Not if i do not will it. My enemies did not die when i took their heads. Nor when i took them again. Not because they were tough. Because you did not will it. Because i did not will it. Now, i wish for death. If i did not i would not bear this wound. But what comes next; this thing that you have shown me... it is vast. It is great and violant and sacred. I will have it for myself. You showed me where to carve the path, and here, in this place, is where it narrows. This thin curtain, this death, is all that stands in my way. How frail it is. I will tear it down. I will breach its gates, as i have breached every gate before me. I will tear down its walls, as i have torn down all walls. But conquest has made my body strong. Too strong now, i see. The blood clings to my veins, and it will not cool fast enough. It defies me. So i snarl, and my anger finds voice where i should have none. If my blood will not cool, then it will burn, and i will go to you in flames. Page 200 I am moved, now. My head, held up by the hand of my enemy. It regards me, as it lifts my remains, and i regard it in turn. There is triumph in its face. This thing thinks it knows victory, in defeating me! It thinks it knows power. But for all the plate it wears, for all that had been done to make it into a thing of war, it is vermin. I study the bones beneath its skin. I see how its body is gnarled and swollen. How its whole self has been made, in the hope that it might hold out to the stars in the name of a dead god. It is a vain hope. Those stars will burn green, in the end. The vermin is dying, i see, even with such mild wounds. It is like a joke, i think, as it bares its feeble tusks. Like a poor copy of an ork, twisted together from the parts of a weaker beast. But you made us right the first time. Not even the primarchs, the peak of their dead god's work, could be as perfect as the lowest part of the great green. The anger swells, now, as the vermin holds my head up in the broken temple. And i think. That i had to die today... annoys me. But why could it not have been a primarch? That fight, i would have relished. I crave that fight. But i cannot have it, and it makes the embers of my anger glow white with rage". Plus there is this too... Ghazghkull Thraka Prophet of the WAAAGH - chapter 10 - page 188 Makari's point of view of Ghazghkulls fight with Ragnar "Beset from all sides, your Prophet detonated a great store of munitions hidden in the walls, so as to cut both himself and his opponent off from the support of their warriors. He knows he must fight this combat alone. Because he has had a vision. You were there. It was his greatest vision yet, and his most violent, seizing his body as if the gods themselves had him in their jaws. He came round from it knowing that this fight was destined; that it was the narrowing he had to pass through, in order to bring about the flourishing of your Great Green. Ghazghkull Thraka Prophet of the WAAAGH - chapter 10 - page 189 Makari's point of view of Ghazghkulls fight with Ragnar. "The prophet curls his lips back from fangs as long as your arms, and in a voice as thick and black as the spilled hydraulic fluid at his feet, he taunts Blackmane in the tounge of men. 'Finish this.' It is a command for an ending' but the ork who speaks for the gods sounds more as if he is impatient for something to begin. Ghazghkull Thraka Prophet of the WAAAGH - chapter 10 - page 191 Makari's point of view after Ghazghkulls death. "Your vision is fading fast. But before it goes entierly, you see one last vision as you gaze involuntarily up the steps of the dias. Ragnar is standing shakily on the ruin of the prophet, with a ghastly rent in his chest. He is swaying, barely keeping his feet beneath him. In one hand, he holds aloft the head of Ghazghkull Thraka. And before the green rises up from the black to take you, you see that your master's tusks are set in a great, triumphant grin, and you know that all will be well. So Ragnar didn't really beat Ghazghkull, since Ghaz allowed him the victory, in order to achieve is ultimate goal! Why did he have to die? And why did he have to die to Ragnar? Only Gork and Mork know.
A battle between the Fallen red angel and the Ghazghkull would be a battle of epic proportions and magnitude that it would reshape the 40k setting entirely. I hope that they make it to where Commissar Yarrick died by Angron blade that the legendary warboss would go on a Crusade of his own to hunt down and kill the Fallen and possibly destroy him for good as the physic might of the Orks rage may surly be enough to destroy his very being, unable to be brought back to fight for the dark god. Merry Christmas 🎄
Ghazghkull Thraka would not last more than some seconds against Angron, it is a silly comparison. Ghazghkull Thraka loses to the top tier of Space Marine champions, what chance does he have against a demon primarch lol. Awesome video though tbf but it is Angron not Angrund
Honestly, a fight between the two of them would never be permitted to end. Khorne would resurrect both forces after one side falls to have them go at it again, and the only way he’d permit one to stay dead is if one of the sides won too consistently
Just imagining Khorne watching it from his throne with popcorn now. seeing how impressed/amused he was by Tuska Demonkilla he'd probably see Ghazkull/Angron as the sequel to his favourite movie and play it on repeat like he does on Tuska.
"ORChestrate massive Waaaghs" great wordplay there!!! Love the video...!!! And since most WH40K Pics are over-used, its brilliant to use shots of well painted mini-s to present the lore!
There's an old World Wrestling Federation term used by JR "Jim" Ross when a particularly chaotic and riveting match takes place, usually a free-for-all, but it can happen between two individuals as well. It's called a Slobberknocker That's what this is gonna be when Ghazghkull gets his power claw on that reddy wingy git Angron. Ya hear that,Angron?! Ya frakked up when ya krumped Ol' Bale Eye. He was Ghaz's bestust ennumy an ya snikkt him like sum Morker. Ghaz's gonna giv it to ya but good!!
Angron's immortality is a big liability to him since GW can have him lose and come back over and over. They kind of did that with Ghazghkull (Blackmane), but if Angron won he'd violate the body so that there was nothing left to stitch back together and Orkfans would be butthurt. So even if there should be no mortal being in the setting capable of successfully going 1vs1 in melee against Angron, I'd probably also guess that GW would give Ghazghkull the win because of plot armour.
A Gaz vs Angron fight would likely be during a 4th War of Armageddon, and part of ne would almost expect Gaz to get a new even bigger model out of it(especially if he's winning thus fight and looting some bits of Angron). Gaz would also be bringing the greatest WAAAAAAAGH since the War of The Beast with him, likes with new units for GW to sell us to boot. Ghazghkull is probably the best fit of all "mere" moral opponents that could be sent against a Deamon Primarch, he is the prophet of Gork and Mork after all...
1v1 Angron wins without a doubt. Army vs Army, Ghaz wins through kunnin and weight of numbers. Keep in mind Orks DO have Titans of their own, it wouldn’t even be a contest.
Angron just sealed his fate when he bloodied his axe with Yarrick's blood. Ghazghkull must be the one to deal the final blow upon the Red Angel and avenge Yarrick's death by Angron's daemonic hands.
I fully believe Gaz would kill Angron at least once and almost wipe out his army in the 8 weeks 8 days and 8 hours it takes for Angron to manifest again. But I can't even comprehend how much larger and stronger Gaz would be at that stage. If he killed Angron a second time I'd wager Gaz would be getting very close to the level of a Krorc and who knows what would happen then.
8 weeks, 8 day, and 8 hours… so 9 weeks, a day, and a third, got it! Also, are these Terra’s time or the time of the last planet he was on? What if the planet’s days lasted years?
Ghaz could potentially permanently kill Angron. Remember, the Orks pre-date the chaos gods and their psychic connection, the Green, comes from the Old Ones. The orks are also the only race that the Warp cannot influence. It's entirely possible that what is called Waaaagh energy could destroy Warp demons.
Besides, if orks were able to perma kill demons using the excuse they were here before the chaos gods, due to war on heaven, then why haven't it happened orks killed demons in the past. The only race i would understand having the ability to perma kill demons are the necrons due to theit weapons and gear fucking with the warp
If Gaz defeat Angron I could see him take the Nails as trophy. When Khorne try to take Angron back the Emperor arrives and, without the Nails, take back the original Angron.
I wouldn't be so sure. Ghaz has the eyes of gork and mork watching over him. He is immune to most effects of the warp and has massive protective magics. Not just that, Ghaz can kill demons permanently. His waagh energy is silly in it's power.
Since angron has been granted the ability to reappear in real space, every 8 weeks, 8 days and 8 hours , all the Orks have to do is wait until he reappears and then they krump 'im gud, tearing out his spleen faster than he can act. And during the constant ambushing, the Ork's WAAGH!!! will enable them to predict when and where the daemon primarch will show up. If angron appears at this place, on this day, of this year, of this decade and this time, then he will appear and then they jump him, knock out his teef and send him back to the warp. And because this occurs constantly ,angron would soon realize that the gift the blood god gave him was in fact a curse and he would despair every time he reappeared in real space. And then angron will remember something from his past. He will recall who it was that made him what he is. He will recall that he never really wanted daemonhood. He will remember who it was that denied him freedom from pain caused by the staples that were jammed into his head. He goes up to khorne, asks to have this boon removed from him and in exchange, he will present to khorne, the skull of a certain daemon prince. He stops reappearing in real space but corvus corrax senses that he isn't alone in his hunt for lorgar..... Disclaimer: I am NOT an author.
This isn't a likely scenario. What is more plausible however is Ghazghull learning that Angron's death throws him back into the Warp, and him coming to the conclusion that if he dies there, he dies for good, and so then takes the Orc Waaaaaagh into the Warp to chase down Angron before he can materialize in realspace again. Thus the greatest Waaaaagh in the Galaxy doesn't target the Imperium, or anything in real space. It threatens the Immaterium, and all that is connected to it including Psyker powers and the Astronomicon, which would be a devastation to all of existence except maybe the Tyranids.
@@CyberXHunter Ghaz has zero shot of even remotely being able to fight angron. This is silly, the feats of the two are so insanely lopsided that it's not even a fair fight. Angry Ron was destroying battleships in the vacuum of space before promptly destroying Grey knights and a whole damn planet lol He also beat the breaks off of leman Russ (the actual primarch of the space wolves) before he was even a demon primarch.
@@JoeSmith-sl9bq Because they are the indirect heroes in this universe. Built to fight the worst the galaxy (and outside of it) has to offer and has done so many times with a smile on their face.
I mean don’t forget a fungus can literally survive nuclear blast, and hell fire is declared as a similar version to that combustion of a demon core from a nuclear bomb. So yes, they get immortality in different ways.
This is a fight that NEEDS TO HAPPEN. The plan tho would hinge on Angron and his forces surviving long enough to kill Ghazghkull and let the remaining orks fight over succession, allowing the world eaters and other forces of Khorne to mop up.
In single combat, I think Angron would flatten Ghazghkull like a pancake and then use the flattened remains like a wet blanket to bitchslap his Waaagh! across the galaxy. In a single battle where they both had their full combined forces, as described in the video, at their disposal, it could go either way. If Ghazghkull decided to declare a galaxy wide Waaagh! on Angron, being given the opportunity and time to plan his approach, I think it's more likely that the orks would attack the World Eaters Legion in multiple separate encounters when they were isolated from each other. The World Eaters are hardly a unified Legion anymore, fragmented into various independent warbands who can't always be relied on to help each other if one of them comes under attack from, say a massive ork fleet in space. Because of this, it would probably take some time before the World Eaters realized that these weren't just greenskin xenos being greenskin xenos, but an organized attack against their Legion as a whole. And by then, their forces would be so dimished that if not necessarily a guaranteed victory, would give Ghazghkull's Waaagh! a numerical advantage in a final confrontation.
Exactly my thoughts. Angron is first and foremost a Primarch. Basically a God amongst men. Now imagine that same Primarch on Warp steroids and a special blessing of the God of Blood and carnage. Gaz is just a huge Ork.
@@storminmormn6283 When Khorne was nothing but a period stain in some nuns panties from the medieval age GorkaMorkas boyz had already stomped half the galaxy in the war against necrons millions of year’s prior they're the embodiment of destruction itself. Ghaz is their chosen prophet of the 41st millennium said the bring the biggest waaggh of all time (Tyranids) so I wouldn't place your bets just yet.
@@storminmormn6283Gork and Mork are canonically each more powerful than any of the chaos gods. That's why they fight each-other. There are two gods of orkdom just so that the God of orkdom can find a proper fight, because nobody else in the warp can stand up to the waaagh. Nobody else is worth fighting. Ghazghkull is the prophet of that God.
If ghaz was decapitated by black mane (I know ghaz technically let him but hear me out) I don’t see him standing up to angron. I genuinely don’t think a normal space marine could kill angron even if he let them. I feel angron would turn ghaz and his waaagh into a heap of gore and scrap that would be impossible to tell what it was previously.
He died in his old body. He’s got a new body now that we have yet to see any lore on. We got the model but we have no clue how tough he actually is now. On tabletop he is top tier in terms of he can go toe to toe with primarchs and come out on top half the time. He is one of the strongest units in tabletop rn.
And now he’s got an upgraded body that we have 0 lore on. We do not know what he is capable now. Tabletop he is one of the strongest units rn, able to 1v1 primarchs and come out on top half the time.
I think angron's plot armour is thicker than ghazgull's, unfortunately. it would still be the fight of his life and maybe even cripple him in some way, but the primearchs - even traitor ones - are intrinsic to the 40k lore. I'm kind of hopping it was all a ploy by yarrick to kill 2 birds with one stone and ghazzgull gets a kick out of it.
Should be noted that the Angel had fought for days then defeated Kabandazh before fighting Angron. Angron only fought against near exhausted Angel and got clapped hard.
And? Angron was only so tough because he was juiced up by the carnage on Terra. He was like 150% with massive regen. When he fought against the Lion, not so tough... The Angel was like at 40-50% and he smashed Angron's brain/soul to pieces. Sure he was near mortally wounded by he came out on top when it should be be that.
It's kinda jarring to know that Ghaz is actually the smarter of the two and would definetly bait Angron on a kill area because for one no one in his legion actually wants to save Angron and two everyone who gets in his way ally alike would get chopped down and three once he is in a state of carnage all logic and reasoning gets out
Angron is the answer to the question, “why men should go to therapy” but he is one of my favourite of the emperor’s sons Because he is such a deeply tragic figure even if few in the galaxy acknowledge this 😢 Gaz does have good reason to fight him though 😅
@@olknoxlo It was a Gork and Mork reference. Still, Angron couldn't even conquer his own planet without Big E's help. He is the least of all the primarchs.
Honestly I think that would be an awesome plot point but I sincerely think GW and the BL writers don't have the balls to go that direction. After all. 40K is always about humans. Aliens are just window dressing... right?
This duel will be euqal or maybe even in favorite of Ghazkull favorite if Angron will be in his old form i mean Only Primarch but now Angron is different level and no even Thougest ork can match him not even Thoughest krork , but regardless all orks will be happy , World Eaters will be happy and Khorne will be the happiest.
Thanks to the Octarius war the Orks despite taking a major loss are even stronger. The Orks vs Word Eaters are going to be one of the main fights for 10th edition.
Honestly hate the fact that anything chaos is just relegated to the punching bag of whatever setting. GW loves just pulling the rug out from under the demon primarchs, or greater demons. I get that’s it’s low stakes, and you could argue that the Arks of Omen story was a big overall chaos W, but massively OP juiced Angron still losses cause “he’ll just respawn.” Like Angron wouldn’t win a fight against Ghaz cause one side losing would be a permanent death, and the other is villain of the week “you haven’t heard the last from me!” Sorry lol. Great video still!! 😅😅
One on one I think angron would win. With full armies the orcs win just from sheer numbers, angron wouldn't be able to kill and block all of them. They would were him down and land enough wounds to kill him but it would be a very rough fight and there's a high likely good ghaz would die in that fight again
Angron is unstopable in 1vs1 at this point since he is a demon that can restore him self even if he got slayed.Thraka will not win in 1v1 but,he is also a great warlord with tactical skill.Angron is not shown great tactics so far.He could play it smart and win by not engaging in 1v1 and win a in long war
@MrInzombia Sanguinius is basically angel Superman and the Lion barley won the duel in which he was constantly retreating and changing tactics and using the literal emperors shield to block attacks and pulse them back etc Sanguinius also mostly retreated and played it safe then even had to end the fight King Arthur style. No one really goes toe to toe with Daemon Angron that would be foolish.
Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne VS Gork loves me, and Mork finks I is da best. No puny oomies is gonna kill me, not when da greenest gods in da galaxy is watchin’ me!
