I honestly love that they sent Luke out of town right after they kissed cos it gave them both time to process and kind of develop the start of their relationship before seeing each other again which made it even more exciting when they finally see each other again
yeah, I like it too as a scripting device however it has always kinda bugged me that it is so unrealistic that Luke could drop everything and go outta town for 7wks!? he is at his diner every day and he runs everything.... 3wks woulda maybe been enough haha...
Luke is such a good hugger. He always gives Liz a big hug and ruffles her hair. He does the same with Jess, once they become closer. Would love to be wrapped up in one of those hugs.
Yes!! 🥲 🥺 the way he envelopes each person cradling their head. He did with her/Lorelei too when she breaks down “I’m a failure” on the bench while she tries opening the Inn. 🫂
Hugging well is a skill. I've only known 2 men in all of my 72 years. This is off the subject but I'm remembering that Sally Field was asked who was the best kisser in her life experience. She said James Garner..... FYI.
It is amazing how after the kiss they were not able to talk face to face but the relationship over the phone was like they were together as a couple for years.
Liz has been setting these two up for so long She and Sookie could see it in their eyes like we did for so long I just adore this relationship so much ❤
I just realized that when Liz says “you’re not gonna be alone” it mirrors what Sookie says to Lorelai in the kitchen after she finds out about her and Luke (you’re not gonna die alone) 😂❤
Both Lorelei and Luke got the same reaction from their close ones when they found out they were together (his sister and Sookie) - you're not going to die alone hahaha
If Luke was really there for 7 weeks, wouldn't the "undercover guys" have already gotten on his case for being out among fairgoers in non-renaissance dress? Methinks they don't really exist 😆
Never noticed it before, but the end mirrors when Jess and Rory made up excuses to leave the diner when THEY first started seeing each other😊 A part for his car, and she had to study😄
