I love that luke knows all the gossips so that he can tell lorelai about it-

Now, Luke and Lorelai use the 'kid code' to meet secretly, just as Jess and Rory did in season 3. 😄

I honestly love that they sent Luke out of town right after they kissed cos it gave them both time to process and kind of develop the start of their relationship before seeing each other again which made it even more exciting when they finally see each other again

They’re so cute and awkward together!! They have that first date glow, where every joke is hilarious and every touch is special 😊

I love how Luke and Lorelai are so giddy and flustered around each other! Just like a bunch of lovestruck teenagers ❤😉

Luke is such a good hugger. He always gives Liz a big hug and ruffles her hair. He does the same with Jess, once they become closer. Would love to be wrapped up in one of those hugs.

It is amazing how after the kiss they were not able to talk face to face but the relationship over the phone was like they were together as a couple for years.
