How in the world does Luke think that he has to have either April or Lorelai? Once you marry Lorelai she will be April's stepmom, and how is that not sinking in

Luke ALWAYS wanted her and it's the same guy who got married on a cruise so let's not pretend he was afraid of marriage or anything, this is NOT in character for him and it's a deeply STUPID idea, writers
i agree with you. and this season showed that pretty well or unwell. the writing of the characters and the storylines are terrible. they just want to create drama for the sake of having drama on the show but the thign is you can create drama and still write the characters the way they are.

I hate the fact that April showed up out of the blue and told Luke she's his daughter freaking him out and causing the wedding to be postponed. Things would have been much easier if April never existed
Their relationship was always a mess. With her and him hiding important things, even in the Revival after being together for more than 10 years comunication was always an issue
Amy ones said they were planing to split them up, the needed to do this, but the way they did it was so absurd. But all this actions finally led to the way this season ended... Personally, I always thought the season 7 never should've ocurred and the season 6 finale should've ended when Lorelai goes walking after fighting with Luke...
Not the same he hid it. After the whole Chris calling .. Come on Chris knew she was pregnant. I know Luke didn't know which I can't stand the writer's about Anna.. Luke thinks he cant have April and Lorelai.. He is wrong.. Postponing the wedding stinks.
That's completely different. Lorelai postponed the wedding because she wanted Rory to be there for her instead of living with her grandparents. Luke postponed it because he's freaked out over finding out he has a child when he wasn't ready
It’s not the same thing at all. Lorelai didn’t postpone anything bc there was never a date even set. She just didn’t want to set a date yet. Luke on the other hand wanted to delay the wedding after setting a date and seeing the dress all after lying to her for 2 months. Not comparable at all
NO.. its not the same thing AT ALL. Rory is her soulmate, her PERSON.. Rory comes first with Lor. Luke used April to push Lor away. he didnt feel he could do both, be a new dad and be a husband, he didnt know how to lean on Lor for support. This showed up and in the year in a life a patern he has with Lor.
Okay for one it's ao different. When Lorelai said she wanted to wait for Rory so date was set or money was spent on things. When Luke said he wanted to postpone the wedding everything was taken care of and money was spend. Some of the stuff Lorelai spend money can't be refunded. So I would be mad at Luke too.
