What’s your bushing setup? Just got a major and it feels stiff when turning. I got the 65 (green) in the front and 85 (white) in the back Thinking of switching the back to 75 (orange) and see if that would add some carvy-ness to it
@@bleedsblue05esk8 gotcha. And how loose are your trucks? I like to carve more during my rides really (as I own a OneWheel) I know with my weight (145lbs) this is a beast of an eskate to maneuver so I don’t expect it to be as nimble as a OneWheel, but hopefully be able to carve at least to make the ride enjoyable. May have to play around with then bushing setup to dial it down
@@dalfimcrouch yeah you’ll never get this anywhere close to a OneWheel when it comes to carving. But you can’t get it to glide back and forth on the road. There is definitely a break in period with these bushings.
@@bleedsblue05esk8 yeah, after being on the major when I first got it (still learning and all) I rode my GTS that same afternoon and I was flying 😅 Found out how far you can loosen up the pins too (the threaded part was pretty lobby to give you a bit of wiggle room) and that loosened up the trucks quite a bit. Of course it was raining that day so I haven’t had the chance to test out the new tuning
I really like your footwear which Adidas s theat youre wearing, and I was waiting for you to to a top speed test but you didn't floor it also whats is the total range like
I’ve been getting around 50 miles with steep hills when I run the battery dry. I’m not going to do a top speed on this board. I can’t seem to get this board to where I feel that comfortable at speed. I hit a hole and got some bad wobbles and crashed in the 30mph speed and even with gear on it messed me up. Luckily the board didn’t sustain any serious damage and I didn’t sustain anything that required surgery. But with that being said this companies customer service is the absolute best. The few things I needed to fix they supplied quickly. It might just be me needed to adjust the trucks some more. But it’s freezing out here and that will take some time.
It is pretty loud. Compared to my other boards this is the loudest. But it also has the most power. There is a slight advantage to it being louder because people hear you coming and just tend to get out of the way. Thanks for watching.
I will eventually. I suffered an injury a little while ago and I’m still not 100%. I have gotten around 25 miles on 50% and that was with some decent hills included. So I have no doubt I’d easily get 50 miles in one charge. I’m hoping to get another update video on this board before the end of the year and I’ll push the board to get the range test in too. But as I’m sure you know it is subjective to your terrain, speed, outdoor temperature, and your weight. I’m 165lbs, its getting pretty could out here and its a pretty hilly area. Thanks for watching.
This board is made with better components and parts than most. The ride is incredibly smooth. It has more power to climb over hills at a decent speed than say the Meepo Hurricane. The Meepo Hurricane on one of me steep hills tops out at 12mph while this board can maintain 25-30 mph I normally ride at and could probably still hit 40 on the same hill. The fast charger you get with it is awesome. The distance you can get with this battery is awesome. The remote is premium. It comes with headlights, brake lights and bindings, which most don’t. Basically you’re getting everything you’d ever need right out of the box with this one. Including stellar customer service. Only drawback with this board is it’s really heavy and big. That’s really it. So for me when I got my Meepo Hurricane I had a bunch off issues right out of the box. And then, because I live in an area with a bunch of hills it felt lacking on power on the hills. Not lacking at all in flats. Ultimately I think the reason (besides it’s fun to have multiple boards to ride) with these lesser boards you end up wanting a little more power after some time. So why spend the money on something cheaper when I’m the long run you’ll probably end up wanting something like this eventually. I know I sound like I’m sponsored by them (I wish I was) but I’m not. Just really love this board the guys that work there are great.
